The Last of Us: Part 2, is no doubt one of the most highly-anticipated titles right now, which sadly still has no official release date as of the moment. Although The Last of Us 2 release date rumors are frequently surfacing online, a recent update from Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann confirms that the studio has just finished shooting the game’s final scene, bringing it one step closer to completion. In Druckmann’s update via Twitter, he also posted a photo of the game’s script, which showed the phrases “CUT TO BLACK” and “THE END....

If you were looking to celebrate the release of The Mandalorian season 2 - while you wait patiently for a possible stand-alone game - Microsoft has an expensive token to celebrate your 2020 survival. The Mandalorian Wireless Xbox Controller is now available for pre-order, and it’s certainly strong with the force. The Spiral Plant might be one of the hardest plants to get in Subnautica: Below Zero. Proving that theory, veteran of stage combat Christina Traister recently took to YouTube to give her own notes on various sword fighting scenes in film. Ranging from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, all the way to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, it seems no scene was too absurd to receive a proper critique. Traister, Associate Professor of Acting and Stage Combat at the University of Michigan and Fight Master with the Society of American Fight Directors, also comes from an acting background spanning over 25 years, so it’s safe to say she has experience with how fights should look on stage and screen....

Take-Two Interactive announced in July of last year that its next big sports title in the NBA 2K series, NBA 2K21, would be selling at a $70 price point. This was notable at the time because Take-Two was the first company to announce a price increase for games on next-gen consoles from the apparent industry standard cap of $60. Since then, Take-Two has stated it doesn’t regret raising NBA 2K21’s price and the game’s financial success backed up the statement....

Bandai Namco’s upcoming mobile RPG Tales of Crestoria will be releasing in the near future, according to a recent letter from the producer Tomomi Tagawa. She also gave the news that the number of pre-registered users for the game jumped over 1 million the other day. Tagawa said that the Japanese and English versions of the game are in the “final stages” and asks fans to “wait just a while longer” for the game to arrive on iOS and Android devices....

Yesterday, Team Fortress 2 received an update in preparation for its Halloween event, Scream Fortress 13, and as a result the 13-year-old FPS has broken a new record for concurrent player counts. This particular Halloween event takes place in a year where multiplayer gaming, especially free games like Team Fortress 2, is one of the few good ways to engage with other people while still maintaining social distancing. The surge in player activity centers around the Scream Fortress XII Halloween event, which comes with 4 community-created maps, as well as the opportunity to unlock frightful cosmetic items and spooky unusual effects all submitted by fans to the Steam workshop....

It’s been a long wait for comic book fans looking forward to playing through Telltale Games’ adaptation of Bill Willingham’s “Fables” series, but the release seems to be getting closer. The adaptation - now titled simply The Wolf Among Us - has finally received its very first trailer. He’ll cook you meals, buy your excess baggage, sell you an arsenal that puts you on the level of a boulder-punching STARS veteran, and even brings you, while you’re unconscious, to the final boss. In 2014, The Evil Within game was a hit amongst horror-game fans. Luckily for them, not long after, in 2017, The Evil Within 2 sequel was introduced to the public. Detective Castellanos (now retired), is looking for his daughter in yet another nightmarish experience. While the game doesn’t reinvent the survival-horror game genre, fans are loving the outcome, and it became a hit once again. The biggest thrill in the game apart from the boss fights will be the lack of ammo, but players will get used to most of the basic monsters....
