The King of Fighters 14 is back with a new Ultimate Edition that comes with all of the downloadable characters and the costumes offered post-release. The game is currently available in Europe digitally and will be released in North America two weeks later on January 20. If you are a diehard for physical media, there will also be a disc version coming out sometime in the spring. The journey has been a long and winding road for the The Last of Us adaptation. For some time, a movie was in the works but then shifted gears to television when HBO announced they’d taken the helm back in March. The Legend of Zelda celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, although you’d be forgiven for not realising. In 2016, Milton Guasti’s Metroid 2 remake (AM2R) was released online after a decade of work. One day later, Nintendo sent DMCA takedown requests to the websites that hosted it. Many fans were shocked by the decision. Guasti seems more surprised by the efficiency of it. “Throughout the years I started seeing that [a takedown] could be possible,” Guasti recalls. “What I was not expecting was that it happened so fast....

Star Wars Battlefront 2 made a showing at EA’s conference in the lead-up to E3 2017, and in the middle of that was a behind-the-scenes look at the game. The segment showed some of the ways DICE took feedback from gamers to change the title, adding new features and changing old ones. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is the followup to 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront, and much looks to have changed between the two games....

One of the hits to come out of EA’s partnership with Lucasfilm was 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. After a long period of having only Star Wars Battlefront renditions to play, Jedi: Fallen Order allowed players to step into a Jedi’s robes and explore the galaxy in a true single-player experience. The story follows Cal Kestis, a young Jedi who is seeking to reconnect with the Force after he was forced into hiding due to Order 66....

Jagex recently announced that its beloved MMO, Old School RuneScape, will be making its way to Steam on February 24. While it’ll no doubt introduce the nostalgic world of Gielinor to a whole new audience, Steam is probably one of the least enticing ways to experience the magic of Old School. Despite its name, Old School RuneScape is actually the younger sibling of Jagex’s other MMO – RuneScape. That game is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary and launched on Steam last year to rave reviews....

Even more Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End footage was shown during a PlayStation Experience panel for the game’s voice acting focusing on Sully in a tuxedo. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been all over the internet these past few days. First there was the the introduction of Nadine in a cinematic trailer from The Game Awards 2015 on Thursday. That was followed by the reunion of the Drake brothers in another cinematic trailer released this morning during the PlayStation Experience press conference....
