Because the USS Discovery hooks-up with the USS Enterprise, there are probably more Easter eggs than are reasonable. Fans have been waiting for it, and now Star Wars: The Clone Wars content has been announced for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 at Electronic Arts E3 2018 press conference. Fans were given an idea which fan favorite characters and locations will be making an appearance. The publisher revealed that Star Wars: Battlefront 2 players will get a chance to play as all kinds of characters from the popular Star Wars era....

The best Star Wars movie to come along since Disney bought Lucasfilm for a pretty penny is arguably Rogue One, but that’s sadly more of a reflection of how disappointing all the others were than a compliment to the movie itself. It has a great setup – a heist story about the Rebel spies who stole the Death Star plans – but it suffers from underdeveloped characters with wasted potential, clunky exposition, structural problems in the second act, and most egregiously, having none of the coolest shots from the trailer in the actual movie....

It might not be the most popular eSport in the world any longer, but the original StarCraft, alongside the incredibly popular Brood War expansion, completely changed the landscape of the game industry when they were originally launched. For all of the success games like League of Legends and Overwatch have now, eSports becoming an Olympic sport in 2022 probably wouldn’t have happened had Blizzard not innovated competitive multiplayer games with the original StarCraft, a game that even now remains popular in certain regions like South Korea....

Stardew Valley recently had a ton of new end game content added-in with the version 1.5 update. While many players are focusing on the new beach farm and getting to Ginger Island, others have taken notice of the flurry of quality of life changes mixed in with the new quests. These small touches help to make the game more enjoyable, hopefully extending its life for years to come. The 1.5 update introduced some small touches that make playing Stardew Valley just a little bit more immersive....

Claire is another new marriage candidate added in the Stardew Valley Expanded Mod. She is a bit different from the other NPCs in Stardew Valley as she doesn’t live in town or even in the desert; instead, she commutes to town in order to work. At the beginning of the game, she finds employment with Joja, but this can change depending on what story route the player wants to pursue....

Jake Best, a Facebook Gaming streamer who goes by the alias BogDog28, was livestreaming the multiplayer psychological horror game Phasmaphobia with some friends on Thursday, October 1, when the unimaginable happened. In the space of two short minutes, his apartment caught on fire and Best lost almost everything. Best’s German shepherd Denver, who is well known in the streamer’s community, was at his mother’s when the fire broke out and is safe....

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate saw the long-awaited return of an adventure mode to a Smash Bros. title, as it had been 10 years since Brawl’s lengthy, cinematic Subspace Emissary. While World of Light may not be filled with high-quality cutscenes or follow as grand of a narrative, this new adventure mode still has plenty to offer. One of the new additions to the already gargantuan Super Smash Bros. Ultimate were Echo Fighters, a new type of fighter that was modeled after an already existing fighter. Echo Fighters allowed for more representation of characters that fans wanted to see while cutting down on how long they would take to develop, making everyone happy in the process. Some older fighters were reclassed as Echo Fighters, while other new fighters joined the roster under this moniker....

Last week’s Nintendo Direct finally gave fans the announcement of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s latest DLC character, following the release of Final Fantasy 7’s Sephiroth last December. The opening of the Direct revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Pyra and Mythra will be joining the game in March. Since then, Super Smash Bros. series creator Masahiro Sakurai has released a screenshot teasing the characters’ in-game appearance. Now, Nintendo has announced that Sakurai will return to host a stream revealing Pyra and Mythra’s move-sets on March 4, 2021....

This Swamp Thing review contains spoilers. And so we have reached the end of the road, or garden path, for Swamp Thing. After 10 consistently good episodes, the series finale is dirty, but largely paydirt – even though the unceremonious early cancellation still rots. Titled “Loose Ends” (Springsteen really has a song for everything, doesn’t he?) the episode attempts to precisely tie them all up. For the most part the mission succeeds, but it’s a rushed affair....

Yesterday, a story from publication Polskigamedev.pl was making the rounds that claimed the ongoing development of Dying Light 2 was “a total mess.” Allegedly having interviewed staff members on the project, the report painted a pretty grim picture of the hotly anticipated follow-up to 2014’s open-world zombie parkour title. Rough translations weren’t exactly accurate, but most of the people interviewed weren’t pleased with how things were progressing. Later on in the day, developer Techland responded to those allegations to try and alleviate fan concerns over the sequel....

We’ve already said it once before, but it bears repeating, no one seems to like Genshin Impact’s Timmie. He’s a sassy little kid standing just outside Mondstadt who will relentlessly fuss at you about his pigeons. Folks have found creative ways to terrorize him since the game’s launch, but one Redditor has discovered yet another way to turn Timmie’s pigeons into fried chicken. Timmie’s whole thing is bossing you around when running over the Mondstadt bridge, whining for you to beware of his pigeons....

One of the most important traits in what makes a Metal Gear Solid game special is its boss battles. Not only are these characters fun and inventive for the story, but they also have clever twists for their encounters. There is always a trick to find or an exploit to uncover, and that’s what makes them great. It will be interesting to see if Hideo Kojima will implement boss battles the same way in Death Stranding....

With Spider-Man: Miles Morales having been out for several months now, many fans have likely finished the game’s main story.
