Described as a “Galactic God game,” The Fermi Paradox - developed and published by Anomaly Games - is presented as a beautifully illustrated and colorful strategy game. The sci-fi is also narrative-driven, where your decisions made in one pocket of the galaxy end up affecting another in the vast expanse. Video games set in space tend to do their best in providing a realistic taste of the unknown universe, but who’s to know for sure if they are successful or not....

Though The Flash Season 7 episode “Timeless” is a largely forgettable mishmash of bad time travel logic and mixed messages about whether the “Forces” that have dominated this season to date are powerful god beings or sadly manipulated humans in need of quasi-parental love from Barry and Iris, it is memorable in one aspect: Theoretically, it is the last gasp of Harrison Wells. Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II has two distinctive modes of combat. It appears that a good number of Star Wars fans want to see Disney make a sequel to its 2018 film, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Although requests for a Solo 2 movie has been prevalent since the release of the movie, fans have ramped up their campaign for the sequel, and thus, the hashtag #MakeSolo2Happen was born. During the past Memorial Day weekend, Star Wars fans went on Twitter to vent out their request for Disney to make a follow-up film to Solo: A Star Wars Story....

One of the biggest criticisms surrounding Street Fighter 5 at launch was its lack of content. Over time, Capcom has added everything from new characters to a comprehensive story mode to the game. One thing that has remained a topic of discussion was the continued absence of a dedicated arcade mode, a staple of most fighters where players take on an enemy one after another until reaching a boss. After nearly two years, Capcom is finally bringing the number one requested feature to Street Fighter 5 in a brand new version of the game....

Capcom releases a new stage for Street Fighter 5 called Skies of Honor that lets players get it on while on top of a moving airplane, complete with a changing background. Street Fighter 5 received mostly positive reviews when it released in February even though many reviewers and fans noted that the game was lacking in content. The Superman movie franchise is a tricky affair. While we’ve come to accept a certain comfortable sameness from our 21st Century superhero franchises, Superman’s big screen adventures since 1978 have, at various times, encompassed the very best and the very worst the genre has to offer, in ways you simply don’t see for other superheroes. For example, while Batman and Robin is nobody’s favorite Batman movie, it’s still a more competent production than Superman IV: The Quest for Peace....

A few weeks ago, Bungie nerfed the Warlock’s new Stasis melee ability, Penumbral Blast, straight into the ground. At issue was the fact that Penumbral Blast could reach out and freeze multiple opponents at extreme ranges and they’d stay frozen for nearly five whole seconds. Five seconds is an eternity in the Crucible, Destiny 2’s player-versus-player game mode, so anyone struck by Penumbral Blast was basically a guaranteed kill. The nerf limited Penumbral Blasts speed making it easier to dodge, reduced its range, and shortened the freeze length to just over one second....

After more than a decade, Halo 3 is getting a new multiplayer map. 343 Industries is currently testing the map with a limited beta, although it’s expected to roll out to the public as early as February 18. According to the latest Halo Waypoint blog post, the map isn’t technically new to the Halo universe. Dedicated fans will recognize it from the short-lived Halo Online – a multiplayer spin-off from Saber Interactive....
