Gollum may not be Lord of the Rings’ most heroic character, but Daedalic Entertainment has chosen the tragic creature to star in its next game. Unfortunately, like many titles of the Covid-19 era, it sounds like The Lord of The Rings: Gollum is delayed. Since the game’s announcement, we’ve seen very little of the actual game outside of some less than appealing screenshots and vague gameplay details. Initially scheduled for a 2021 release, it’s no surprise given the lack of news that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has in fact been pushed back to 2022....
Showtime’s Dexter revival added multiple new cast members to join Michael C. Hall and Clancy Brown. Among the newcomers is actress Julia Jones, perhaps best known for her role in the first season of Disney and Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian. Jones appeared in the fourth episode of The Mandalorian’s debut season as Omera, a krill farmer and widow living in a village on the planet Sorgan. When The Mandalorian and Grogu seek refuge in the village and are hired by the locals to them from Klatooinian raiders, Omera befriends the Bounty Hunter and participates in the battle against the raiders, which our heroes manage to win....

On the latest episode of The Star Wars Show, a teaser image of Naboo was shared. The image is of Theed, the capital city of Naboo from the Star Wars prequel trilogy, slated to be a multiplayer map in Battlefront II. The map, called “Assault on Theed” will be showcased this Saturday at E3 at 1pm PT. Part of the showcase will consist of a livestream of a 20 v 20 multiplayer game....

Starfield is the first new IP that Bethesda has worked on in decades, and many fans are excited to see what the developer comes up with for its new science-fiction space epic. Games like Mass Effect have already had a huge influence on recent RPGs set in space, and telling a new original story this late in the game will be no easy task for the Skyrim studio. Judging by the initial images and teasers released for Starfield, Bethesda appears to be going in a relatively “hard science fiction” direction with the game’s genre, which could help distinguish it from past RPGs as well as other Bethesda franchises....

Finally, Rocksteady officially announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as a next-generation co-op game. Now that the game has finally been announced, Rocksteady has confirmed that the trailer is indeed indicative of the four playable characters that will be available. As seen in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League reveal trailer, the playable characters in the game are Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark, so some of the more common characters that pop up in the Suicide Squad comic books....
