Call of Duty is known for its high-octane gunplay, which is thanks to the game’s low time to kill and plethora of equipment. Many different types of guns, attachments, grenades, and killstreaks exist to give the game near infinite replayability. With Modern Warfare recently releasing its Battle Royale gamemode called Warzone, all of that game’s equipment and items have made their way over to the BR counterpart, for better or worse....

The title’s a bit of a mouthful but it’s very much worth getting your teeth into this Netflix show, based on Sally Green’s Half Bad trilogy of books. This is nominally a YA series, but it really leans into the ‘A’ of that – it’s a coming of age story, just but one that involves sex and drugs and a massive body count with the gore dialled up to the max....

I have incredibly fond memories of Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. It’s one of few games where simple images elicit feelings that transcend time and fill me with joy even years later. Whether that’s the dumpster robots of Metropolis or the squelchy screams of the swamp critters at the beginning of the game, Going Commando just gets me. One such nostalgic fix is found with the Arenas with their unique boss designs and charming host - thankfully, thanks to the Trophy list being revealed, we know they’re back in Rift Apart....

It is no secret that some developers can become greedy when dealing with their players, but Dead or Alive 6 has taken the cake recently in charging money each time a player changes their hair color. Developer Team Ninja has finally responded after a considerable amount of backlash online, saying that they are sorry, but offering no concrete solution to the problem at hand. The issue stemmed from players needing to spend real money to change a character’s hair color, but this did not unlock a permanent cosmetic item, and instead the change was only temporary....

As Massive prepares for its one-year celebration livestream for Tom Clancy’s The Division, creative director Julian Gerighty spoke with Game Rant about what the develop has planned for the game’s second year. While Gerighty wasn’t able to reveal everything that Massive is planning, he was able to share a few insights about what gamers can expect from The Division’s Year 2. It sounds like Massive is planning a full years worth of new content and updates to keep gamers engaged during the next 12 months....

A developer for The Division announces that a patch for the login glitch is coming, and offers some advice to prevent it from happening to those who still can login. While the majority of players of The Division can play the game without any problems, there is a subset of players who can’t even login due to a game-breaking glitch. The Department of Justice has obtained a guilty plea from the person who carried out a DDoS attack that took down nearly half of the internet and likely caused tens of millions of dollars in lost revenue. On December 9 of this year, we learned that that person was a teenager at the time. On October 21, 2016, three different DDoS attacks were carried out that took down large swathes of the internet and disrupted other parts throughout the day....

While Hello Games has made a name for itself with the space exploring survival game No Man’s Sky, the studio announced a smaller-scale game called The Last Campfire at The Game Awards 2018. A trailer for the game debuted at the 2020 PC Gaming Show today, and though not much more about its mechanics were shown in the minute-long video, it was revealed that The Last Campfire will be releasing exclusively on the Epic Games Store for PC....

Microsoft turned plenty of heads last year at E3 2018 when Phil Spencer announced that the company had acquired several studios like Playground Games and Ninja Theory. The move was an attempt to bolster the Xbox first party lineup, which has been seen by some as not as robust as what Sony offers.
