Movie games have a bad reputation of disappointing both gamers and fans of the original source material. While there have a number of great movie tie-in games, some of the worst games to ever grace our consoles have sadly been based on films. Which ones are the worst ones, you ask? Well, the one and only Metacritic can answer that question for us. Without further delay, here are 10 movie tie-in games that Metacritic considers to be the bottom of the barrel’s bottom....

If you look at sales figures, then the Nintendo 64 was the clear runner-up in the sixth generation of consoles. While the PlayStation sold around 103 million copies, the Nintendo 64 only managed to sell about 33 million copies. Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ version 1.2.1. update has patched out the postbox item cloning hack and various other exploits. The postbox exploit, which involves sending mail to a secondary character and using their postbox to duplicate items, will no longer work if you have downloaded the 1.2.1. update. Players who haven’t updated their game can still use the various exploits, so folks who still wish to duplicate items using known glitches might want to hold off on getting the patch....

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gates of Oblivion expansion is in development at Zenimax Online Studios, with a release date set for June of this year. Elder Scrolls fans who watched the trailer will likely recognize at least one familiar face: Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of Destruction. Mehrunes Dagon was also the main antagonist of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Naturally, this has some fans worried that The Elder Scrolls Online: Gates of Oblivion might be retreading old territory....

Resident Evil is Capcom’s best-selling video game franchise and one of the best-selling in the world. The franchise was created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara on the basis of Capcom’s previous game called Sweet Home, which was used as the main inspiration. The first game, Resident Evil, contained many elements from Sweet Home, and the game itself became a major critical and commercial success....

It was the first computer entertainment platform to sell more than 100 million units – eventually going up to 102.49 million over the course of its lifespan. Xbox users can finally play a fan-favorite Star Wars game with the surprise launch of Star Wars Episode 1: Racer, available today. Initially released on the PS4 and Switch in June, Star Wars Episode 1: Racer is a port of the N64 classic with modernized controls and a better frame rate to handle its high-speed races. Activision has been sure to pack Call of Duty: Modern Warfare full of COD point bundles. Each bundle includes blueprints, skins, emblems, and much more. Modern Warfare fans usually purchase these bundles as a chance to personalize their gear or show off to their friends in multiplayer lobbies. One perceptive fan noticed a small glitch in the Modern Warfare store. This error makes some items not appear as they should, resulting in minor confusion when clicking on certain bundles....
