Following the recent unveiling of Star Wars Battlefront 2’s Starfighter Assault in a trailer, the video game developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts decided to give fans of the science fiction shooter franchise a better look at what’s to come in the mode during gamescom 2017. In order to do so, the companies have now put out nearly 10 minutes of gameplay footage that features 24 players doing battle in space against one another....

Starfield will be Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 years. After decades of focusing on The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises, it will be hard for many fans to imagine how Bethesda might approach its new sci-fi RPG. So far, Starfield appears to be a large open-world game set in space, where players will have the ability to travel to and explore different worlds. While its development marks one of Bethesda’s least predictable moves in years, there are also some good reasons that the new game could show Bethesda fans that it’s time for a change....

The Spectrum 7XB headset, announced earlier this year by SteelSeries, is vastly different than the Siberia V2 in design and functionality. While it does feature an identical retractable microphone, the headset itself features more of a standard headband design instead of the two-tiered flexible design of the Siberia and its predecessor. At DC Fandome’s panel for The Suicide Squad, Warner Brothers and the crew of the movie finally revealed all of the returning characters for the upcoming movie, and I still can’t believe we’re finally getting big screen Arm Fall Off Boy. Also Harley Quinn is back. Returning from the first movie are several characters: Harley Quinn, played almost perfectly (twice!) by Margot Robbie; Boomerang gets to be a Captain in this movie, played by Jai Courtney; Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller; and Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flagg....

Super Lucky’s Tale was announced by Microsoft at its Xbox E3 2017 press conference with a release date of November 7, 2017. This release is right in line with the launch of the Xbox One X, Microsoft’s updated console previously called Project Scorpio. The franchise started in 2016 with Lucky’s Tale, which launched as an Oculus VR exclusive. The first game was not terribly well received. Tekken is one of the most prominent fighting franchises ever created. It was hard to own an original PlayStation and not know that you needed to own a copy of at least one of the original Tekken trilogy, if not all three. Among Us is a social deduction game where the rules are simple but insanely fun. Among a group of players with designated tasks, there are randomly chosen impostors whose goal is to either kill everyone onboard or successfully sabotage the area (i.e. deplete all oxygen, initiate a reactor core meltdown). Crewmates win the game by kicking out the impostor or finishing all tasks before they’re able to kill them. With the numbers game stacked against them, impostors have the hardest role in any Among Usgame....
