The season 2 finale for The Mandalorian gave viewers a one-two punch in terms of fan service surprises. Well, the whole show is filled with fan service, but these two definitely take the cake. In September 2017, developer Chucklefish announced that a forthcoming update to Starbound would bring bounty hunting to the procedurally generated sci-fi game. Since then, the company has offered intermittent updates on Starbound bounty hunting, and now, nearly two years after the announcement, this Starbound update has finally arrived. Super Mario Odyssey’s Sand Kingdom, the third kingdom in the Nintendo Switch game, puts Mario at the center of a desert town filled with lively, sombrero-wearing locals named Tostarenans. Since your first visit to the Sand Kingdom comes fairly early in the game, most of the town’s Power Moons are easily obtainable with a bit of exploration. Still, getting all 89 Power Moons can prove to be a challenge, especially the ones that appear after the main storyline is completed....

Fortnite is teasing the arrival of Superman for Season 7. In a recently uploaded tweet, the game’s official handle showcased a guitar, a gun of some kind, and a pair of spectacles. One of the most noteworthy video game studio closures over the past decade was the closure of Telltale Games, the studio behind major adventure games such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and Batman: The Telltale Series. In Destiny 2’s latest expansion Forsaken a number of new legendaries have been added to the pile that make many of the year one weapons obsolete, but there are a number of weapons that are just terrible by comparison. A lot of this has to do with the randomized perks and RNG that can make a weapon either the most powerful in the game or nothing but an ammo dump. But even with the RNG there are some weapons that gain a permanent spot on loadouts while others are dismantled as soon as they’re found, assuming they’re even picked up....

When Adam Sandler hosted Saturday Night Live last year, his opening monologue was a song dedicated to how the show unceremoniously let him go.
