Good news for Terraria players as 505 Games and Re-Logic, in partnership with Pipeworks Studios, have launched a huge free update that includes new armor sets and furniture. It also brings the experience for players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in line with PC players for the first time in the game’s history. The update itself includes the addition of crystal furniture, more platform types, Leinfor’s and Arkhayla’s developer armor sets, and several items that increase existing furniture sets....

Pokemon Go Trainers in the United States are getting an exclusive event… sort of. Observant fans found clues last week pointing to an exclusive in-game event for 7-Eleven Mexico. The event marks the first time shiny Ferroseed is available in Pokemon Go, and also gave access to Unown “S” and “E” along with quests for Charizard Mega Energy. Star Trek Online players are paying tribute to legendary actor Christopher Plummer, who died this week at 91. The Oscar winner, best-known for starring as Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, portrayed Klingon General Chang in the 1991 film Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country. Plummer reprised the role of Chang in Star Trek: Klingon Academy, a space flight simulator game developed by 14 Degrees East in 2000. Prior to the events of the game, which explains how Chang lost an eye, the General defeats Kalnor, head of the powerful House of G’Iogh, who attempts a coup d’état against the Klingon government....

Star Wars: Squadrons debuted as a rogue entry into the galactic franchise, taking a gamble on the back of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. There was concern that it wouldn’t find its place in the market, however, reports show that the space combat game had a very successful launch month. According to SuperData, the sales that followed its release on October 1 generated a total of 1.1 million digital units sold throughout the month....
