Good news! Netflix’s epic Jim Henson Company series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance won the 2020 Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Program. Now onto some bad news… Netflix confirmed today that it will not be moving forward with future seasons of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, canceling the show after one season. io9 was the first to report the news. Netflix released the following statement: “We are grateful to the master artists at the Jim Henson Company for bringing The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance to life for fans around the world....

The Division’s level design director, Chadi El Zibaoui, guides players through a video that demonstrates how the game wants players to have choices to make in each mission. The video, which follows Zibauoi as his Agent player character is tasked with quelling a riot that is taking place near a Joint Task Force base, shows off some of the unique abilities some of the skill trees that The Division offers. Zibauoi has the Agent make liberal use of both the pulse and sticky bomb skills in order to out-maneuver enemies as he navigates his way through the deserted streets of New York City....

BioWare is a well-known game developer that specializes in role-playing videogames. The company’s first game was a 1996 mech simulation game called Shattered Steel, which was met with more or less success. Regardless, their next game Baldur’s Gate, earned them respect and put the company on the world map. The game sold 2 million copies - the same as Diablo, which was also published at the same time. The studio was later sold to Electronic Arts but still continued to do what it does best - creating first-class role-playing videogames....

Earlier this year, HBO announced it was developing a television series based on The Last of Us video game with Chernobyl producer Craig Mazin. The Last of Us writer and creative director Neil Druckmann will join Mazin on the project to write and executive produce the series. The latest news from Ubisoft’s E3 2018 presentation is Star Fox’s own Fox McCloud has joined the fray in the toys-to-life game Starlink. Starlink is an immediately attention-grabbing concept; players will be able to purchase real-life toy ships that can then be used in-game. The ships are modular, with players able to change engines, weapons, and pilots physically in order to affect their in-game avatars. The game itself is a third-person action-adventure, spaceship combat game....

Now that the release date for Star Wars Battlefront 2’s Update 1.2 has finally arrived, the developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts have officially detailed the contents of its patch notes for fans of the science fiction shooter to peruse.
