Mario is still Nintendo’s greatest tool to move hardware, but both Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine have become important titles and learning experiences for Nintendo....

2020 has been a tough year for cinema with theaters forced to close and release dates delayed. Just when it seemed like the Fast & Furious franchise would keep going forever, Vin Diesel announced that the series will be ending with a two-part finale – tentatively titled Fast & Furious 10 and Fast & Furious 11 – to roll out after the COVID-delayed F9. The series has been rebranded The Fast Saga and the tenth and eleventh movies will bring an end to that saga. This plan is reminiscent of a different two-part franchise finale that Vin Diesel was a part of: Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame....

Developer Naughty Dog has packed the world of The Last of Us 2 full of collectibles. Many of them flesh out the narrative by giving context to the environments and what is happening in post-apocalyptic Seattle, while others, like the Trading Cards, are a fun nod to Ellie’s playful side. But amongst the numerous The Last of Us 2 collectibles are a few that callback to Naughty Dog’s past franchise. For example, there is an Antique Ring collectible in the game that is pulled straight from Uncharted....

With only two weeks left before The Last of Us Part 2’s release, Naughty Dog and Sony have aired a new tv spot commercial. As most would expect, this teaser is pretty somber and melancholy, highlighting the game’s revenge and survival-based themes like previous The Last of Us trailers. The tv spot aired on ESPN yesterday. It’s only thirty seconds long, and being a cinematic trailer, doesn’t show any gameplay footage....

The Long Dark is a first-person game developed by Hinterland Studio way back in 2014. In this one, you’ll be thrown into an open world set in the Canadian wilderness. You’ll have to look out for specific stats (like body temperature, caloric intake, hunger, thirst, or fatigue) and only have a few things to survive with. Because this is a survival game, you’ll have to explore the map to see what kind of resources you can gather in order to make it out alive....

In Chapter 13 of The Mandalorian, “The Jedi,” the audience and Din Djarin both learn two important pieces of information. First, the kid’s name is Grogu. Perhaps it’ll catch on as well as Baby Yoda did? Second, Ahsoka Tano tells Din to take the Force-sensitive toddler to the old Jedi Temple on the planet Tython, where he’ll be able to reach out to other Jedi across the galaxy....
