The highly-anticipated director’s cut of Justice League doesn’t come out on HBO Max until next week, on Thursday, March 18. Yet, for some reason, those who clicked on the new Tom & Jerry movie got to watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League instead. A number of HBO Max subscribers reported the error on Twitter, where the streaming overlay still seemed to show Tom & Jerry playing, despite it very clearly being the Snyder Cut....

When news that The Last Of Us Part 2 had leaked almost in its entirety last week, initial speculation pointed towards the source as an alleged disgruntled developer at Naughty Dog, but Sony has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that this is not true. They have identified those individuals responsible for the leak, and have confirmed that they were not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment or Naughty Dog. The rumor, though unsubstantiated, carried tremendous weight as potentially true given how Naughty Dog had recently been called out for the ongoing, systemic culture of development crunch placed on its employees....
Among the announcements that came from the February 2021 Nintendo Direct was the news that the 1999 action RPG Legend of Mana would see a remastered released on the Switch this summer. For most, this is strictly a digital release, but Japan is getting another option. The Square Enix store has recently opened orders for a physical edition of the game that comes with plenty of extras. The Legend of Mana collector’s edition will be available for both the PS4 and Nintendo Switch and comes with a copy of the game, an art book, an official soundtrack, and an adorable Li’l Cactus plush....

In what is likely an elaborate April Fool’s joke, some of the game’s shotguns have been replaced with gold Mozambiques. One of these Mozambiques contains nine bullets, meaning players can use the infamous weapon to do serious damage to any opponents that get in the way....

After its reveal this past week, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is making a strong first impression as it continues to add many features and modes fans originally were hoping for with the initial game that launched in 2015. With a dedicated story mode campaign, content from all three eras and more coming, many fans were hoping another feature from DICE’s other famed franchise, Battlefield, would be coming over as well. This Star Wars article contains spoilers of Tales of the Jedi. Just a little over 20 years ago, Lucasfilm released Attack of the Clones, the middle chapter of George Lucas’ Prequel Trilogy. Positioned to be the installment that did away with the much-maligned trade disputes and Senate meetings of The Phantom Menace, this follow-up delivered plenty of Jedi action, evil villains, and even Yoda with a lightsaber. But Lucas, never quite content with the “more of the same” Hollywood approach to blockbusters, also infused Attack of the Clones with a few other things never before seen in the franchise: a predictable and exposition-heavy detective story as well as an ill-advised romantic subplot that came off as creepy even in 2002....
