Not too long ago, Bethesda officially revealed the existence of its forthcoming science fiction project known as Starfield, with the title making its public debut during the publisher and developer’s E3 2018 press conference. After this, Bethesda Game Studios director and executive producer Todd Howard said that the release is a “next-generation” game, and now he has decided to further elaborate on the matter to bring fans up to speed....

With Super Mario Maker 2 now available for the Nintendo Switch, there have been few complaints concerning bugs in the game. That might be changing soon, though, as an amusing glitch involving Luigi has been discovered that can propel him into the sky. Super Mario Maker 2 allows the player to select from four different characters; Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadette. In order for the glitch to work, the player needs to select the Super Mario 3D World setting, put Luigi in the stage, and give him the Cat Suit powerup....

After it was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, SXSW is coming back next month as an online event (simply named SXSW Online). As such, the organizers have announced the eighth annual SXSW Gaming Awards and the nominees for the 12 categories. This year, SXSW is partnering with IGN to produce the awards show, which is being presented by Discord and broadcast live on Saturday, March 20th at 7pm CT / 8pm ET / 5pm PT and March 21st at 1am GMT....

The Tetris movie has begun filming in Glasgow, Scotland, and while the bustling city is not under attack by giant blocks, it will be home to an intriguing legal battle. Welsh actor Taron Egerton shared our first look at his character - the Dutch entrepreneur Henk Rogers. Egerton shared a behind-the-scenes photo with his Instagram followers showing off his on-screen look as Rogers. Wearing a shirt and tie - with a white vest underneath - Egerton captioned the post with “Felt Sexy....

Many species of Pokémon are based on things found in nature, whether it be real-life animals, elemental objects, or even plants. The Grass-type, which is full of these Pokémon that take inspiration from plants, is dominated by shades of green, flowers, foliage, and other plant-like motifs. At the start of 2020, the Switch’s release lineup was a barren wasteland. Few games had been announced for the coming year, and Nintendo wasn’t doing a great job of putting our fears of an empty 2020 to rest. Sure, we knew Animal Crossing was launching in March, but beyond that there wasn’t much to look forward to. Thankfully, Nintendo has since made several big announcements — in particular, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and the upcoming Paper Mario: Origami King have done a great job of appeasing the masses....

Despite its launch delay from December 2020 to January 2021, Bloober Team’s The Medium is still a highly anticipated horror game thanks to Bloober’s well-deserved reputation in the horror genre. The developer has received critical acclaim for its previous releases, such as Layers of Fear and Blair Witch. The Medium, however, will be its first console exclusive, only releasing on PC and Xbox Series X/S. While there is no blatant call for action against loot boxes, French Senator Jérôme Durain has penned a letter to ARJEL, the regulating authority for online gambling in France. This letter emerges following the recent controversy in Star Wars Battlefront 2 where loot boxes have had a game-changing effect on the multiplayer experience. Recently, EA removed all microtransactions from the game; however, they are expected to return. Reddit user Artkfunkel posted a French-to-English translation of the letter online for the world to see....
