When the pandemic hit it was Steven Soderberg’s Contagion rather than M Night Shyamalan’s The Happening that people wanted to revisit. Perhaps Mark Wahlberg running away from the wind wasn’t the vibe people were looking for. Revisiting this much maligned but secretly wonderful curio in light of where we are in the world now, though, throws up some interesting parallels. The big difference between the way the characters in The Happening dealt with their pandemic and what’s going on in the world now is lockdown....

One of the standout reveals at E3 2018 was a brand new trailer for The Last of Us Part 2. In addition to showing fans what Ellie’s new life in Jackson is like, it also featured gameplay as she got into some brutal brawls and shootouts with the game’s human enemies. Naughty Dog’s zombie apocalypse games, The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part 2, are definitely not known for their cute graphics and heart-warming gameplay. Practically ever since the Marvel’s Avengers beta, there have been datamines and leaks of characters that would come to the game as DLC. While this information should be taken with a grain of salt, there is an overabundance of circumstantial evidence on some of these characters that is hard to ignore. These characters, at their core, present a fundamental problem with Marvel’s Avengers. It’s not secret that this first game in the fabled Avengers project did not land as intended, so Square Enix intends to “save” Marvel’s Avengers with DLC....

At one point, many fans believed they would only be able to play Star Wars Episode I: Racer on a classic video game console of old in a living room far far away. However, the fan-favorite Star Wars racing game was announced by Aspyr recently and is on its way soon. But PlayStation 4 players will have to wait a bit longer. Star Wars Episode I: Racer was set to be released on both the Nintendo Switch and the PS4 on May 12....
