The Legend of Zelda series offers some of the most memorable character designs in gaming history. The Lion King 2 is feeling the love tonight (or this afternoon, precisely), with Disney reportedly moving forward with the inevitable sequel to its $1.65 billion globally-grossing hit live-action remake of its iconic 1994 animated feature. Walt Disney Studios has hired Barry Jenkins to direct the now-developing sequel to 2019’s The Lion King, according to Deadline. Jenkins, the Oscar-winning helmer of 2016 drama Moonlight, takes over a chair left behind by original movie director Jon Favreau, who has since become an invaluable source of direction for the company with Disney+ series The Mandalorian, for which he is the credited creator....

The Magicians Season 3 Episode 12 This is as close to a happy ending as The Magicians has ever had, and it’s no coincidence that it comes right before the finale, lulling viewers into complacency before the door at the end of the world is opened, unleashing gods-know-what. Nevertheless, with Quentin, Julia, Margo, and even Josh all ending up stronger by the end of this episode, although “The Fillorian Candidate” is not devoid of heartache for people like Kady and Quentin’s father, it’s an overall win as a very clear road now lies ahead for the final key and the return of magic....

The Bowser’s Fury reveal surprised a lot of people last week with its sandbox level design. Unlike the fixed camera position and linear stages of Super Mario 3D World, Bowser’s Fury uses a 3rd-person camera and open world where Mario can freely explore and complete challenges in seemingly any order. The island of Lake Lapcat, where Bowser’s Fury takes place, looks like an extra-large Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey that uses the items from Super Mario 3D World....

Stalker 2 still doesn’t have a release date, but developer GSC Game World has confirmed it will come to Xbox Game Pass on launch day. It’ll also feature ray tracing and 4K support on Xbox Series X. The news was announced by Zakhar Bocharov – PR Specialist at GSC Game World – in a statement posted to the Xbox Blog. “We’re progressing smoothly, including Xbox Series X|S versions as well,” wrote Bocharov....

Taking aerial combat to new heights, Star Wars: Squadrons takes a lot of player’s favorite parts of previous titles and made it the main focus. Minecraft’s Steve has been a part of the Smash Ultimate roster for less than a day, and the internet’s collective dirty mind has already spotted something unfortunate. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate leaked online several days ago, which has led to some of the secret content within the game being revealed early. There is an abundance of Spirits within the Spirits mode, which are essentially images of video game characters that offer benefits to a character when applied to them, in a similar manner to the stickers from Brawl. It seems that not all of the images of the Spirits will be true to their original counterparts, as it has been revealed that some of the female Spirits have had their artwork censored in order to show less skin....
