I’ve become well acquainted with The Dark Pictures Anthology. After playing and reviewing each episode, I’ve generally liked these interactive scary movies even if there’s still some room for improvement when it comes to their QTE-ridden gameplay. But even though I have a good time wandering through these jump-scare laden adventures, I’ve noticed an odd pattern that keeps occurring in Supermassive Games’ horror series. For whatever reason, each of these tales features a “big twist” that completely alters what the story is about....

All sense of decorum in critical praise is now gone as The Expanse just continues to kill it; the vocabulary of superlatives to describe such a show is running low. It’s safe to say there’s never been a DC movie quite like The Flash. Yes, this is a movie about Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen, the DCEU’s superhero youngster who is still learning the ropes since his team-up with the grown-ups in 2017’s Justice League, but the film is also much bigger than that. Not only will it feature many of the greatest superheroes in comic book history, but it will bring in Batmen from two separate movie universes, as well as Supergirl (Sasha Calle), to team up with the Scarlet Speedster for a multiverse-spanning adventure....

The Goonies is widely considered to be one of the greatest and most influential movies to come from the ’80s. It’s a film that’s beloved by so many people including director Adam F. Goldberg who has spent nearly a decade writing a sequel to The Goonies.
