Paramount and Hasbro are planning to revamp the live-action Transformers film franchise with a director already in mind. After searching for months, Creed 2 director Steven Caple Jr. is reportedly the top choice of Paramount and Hasbro to helm the next Transformers film. In January, Paramount opted to reinvent the Transformers film series by putting two scripts into active development simultaneously. James Vanderbilt reportedly penned a screenplay based on the Beast Wars series while Jaboy Harold wrote a script for a story rumored to be set in the same universe as director Travis Knight’s Bumblebee....

As a highly referential series, Star Trek: Lower Decks has beamed many live-action characters into the world of animation. Seasons one and two saw Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis as cartoon versions of Will Riker and Deanna Troi, now aboard the USS Titan. Lycia Naff, who played Ensign Gomez on a handful of Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes returned in animated form as Captain Gomez of the USS Archimedes. Even Star Trek: Voyager‘s Robert Duncan McNeill showed up as a Tom Paris commemorative plate....

The lawsuit that professional Fortnite player Tfue started against the FaZe Clan organization in May of 2019, stating that the company imposed an unlawful and oppressive contract onto him, has ended in a voluntary dismissal. Turner “Tfue” Tenney first filed the lawsuit against FaZe agency after signing a contract with them in 2018. In the lawsuit, Tfue claimed that FaZe’s control over the professional esports player was restricting, allegedly preventing him from signing any deals with other brands as well as taking a mountainous 80% of Tfue’s earnings from revenue and deals....
