Teen Unknowingly Spends 13 000 On Xbox Can T Refund

A teenager playing games on Xbox One unknowingly spent over $13,000 across 13 months using his parents’ credit card and as a result won’t be able to refund. The teenager’s parents believed they had disabled in-game purchases without approval and so weren’t actively monitoring the credit card associated with the account’s statements. Because of Xbox’s firm 14-day limit for refunds, the family is officially stuck with the bill. According to NBC New York and the teenager’s parents, there’s no indication that this teenager simply went on monthly spending sprees and is now trying to get away with it....

The Best Horror Movies Based On Ghost Stories

Ghost stories have been around forever, and will haunt us long after we are ghosts. Before film, most apparitional tales came from novels or short stories. The Case For Re Used Assets In Video Games

Video game developers often re-use materials, assets, and entire game engines from their own previous titles or even entirely different games. This is occasionally bemoaned as “lazy game design,” especially when it is particularly noticeable or seems low effort, but the practice is only becoming more common. Large companies like Ubisoft make a regular practice of sharing assets between its many titles, and Epic Games makes a significant portion of its business by providing smaller companies access to Unreal Engine....

The Golf Club 2019 10 Tips For Beginners And Or Non Golfers

The Golf Club 2019 improved on many of the flaws that plagued the franchise’s previous releases. Improvements include fine-tuning the previously unforgiving shot metrics, the cancellation of painfully long sequences of the ball rolling thanks to the fast forward button, and the overall smoother player experience. Nonetheless, approaching The Golf Club 2019 as a beginner can be rather daunting, especially if you are unfamiliar with the sport of golf itself. The Mass Effect Romances No One Talks About

The Mass Effect franchise has long been known for its immersive world-building and creative romance options. When it comes to romance, of course some fan-favorites will stand out amongst others. For example, players will often talk of Garrus’ romance or Miranda Lawson’s much sooner than others like Jacob Taylor. Part of this comes down to player preference, but otherwise boils down to how well the story is told. Some Mass Effect romances aren’t given the acknowledgment they deserve simply because they belong to lesser-known NPCs....

The Nemesis System Patent Could Be Bad News For Assassin S Creed

After many attempts, Warner Bros. has successfully patent the Nemesis System it introduced in Shadow of Mordor. Its various attempts over the years likely explain why many video games didn’t adopt the Nemesis System into their own games, as while it was popular, it has been sorely missed in some key franchises that could benefit from it. Now, the patent is worded so ambiguously that anything close could cause some sort of dispute, and that could be bad news for the Assassin’s Creed franchise....
