A Twitch streamer accused on animal abuse is now claiming that Twitch will not be taking disciplinary action against her but may actually punish others for harassing her. The streamer, Alinity, made the statement on her official Discord server today after dropping her cat over her head during a stream Friday. This isn’t the first time Alinity displayed questionable behavior towards her pets on stream, and many viewers, streamers, and some celebrities made immediate calls for action against the streamer....

The union that represents video game voice actors uploads a list of upcoming titles to its website, possibly spilling the beans on Telltale’s 2017 Marvel game. SAG-AFTRA, the union that represents many video game voice actors as well as others in Hollywood, authorized a strike in October against some game developers and production studios. The move has caused work to cease on many currently-in-development games, which could now be at risk of delay....

Tfue has made a name for himself through playing Fortnite, but he hasn’t played the game in a while. Bloober Team’s horror game, The Medium has already covered its cost of development in a batter of days. The game is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass as well. As spotted by GameSpot, Bloober Team spoke to Polish publication Money.pl and said that The Medium has already generated enough revenue to cover developmental and marketing costs, all revenue henceforth will be profit. Bloober team has found its niche as a horror genre game studio, following the likes of Blair Witch and Layers of Fear 2....

Receiving an eerie new trailer at yesterday’s Xbox Games Showcase, STALKER 2 made a huge splash when it announced that it would be making its way to Xbox Series X and Game Pass when it debuts sometime in the near future. Seeing as it was the first time in a while that GSC Game World had talked about the long-awaited sequel to its cult-classic trilogy, the game immediately drew a lot of attention online, with fans seeming elated about the series’ return....

EA Games uploaded a “reveal” trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons this morning and it’s yet another in a long line of disappointing CGI teaser trailers. For years in the gaming industry, publishers have revealed first looks at their upcoming games with trailers that show literally nothing about said game. This happened last week with the PS5 reveal event and was famously lampooned earlier this year with Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’s misleading “gameplay” trailer....

Despite the film ending the utterly iconic Star Wars saga, Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker was critically panned by reviewers and consumers alike. Many saw it as a rushed, lackluster, and forced final entry to the franchise, with some extreme Star Wars fans even calling for the film to be struck from canon and for JJ Abrams to start over. Stellaris: Federations is the latest expansion to Paradox Interactive’s space Grand Strategy game Stellaris. In the four years since the 1.0 release of Stellaris, Paradox has regularly updated the Sci-Fi themed strategy game with both small content add ons and big, game-changing expansions. Federations falls into the latter category, adding two new mechanics and reworking an existing aspect of the game in a major way. All three of these changes make it easier for players to characterize and tell a story about their Galactic Empire....
