Ubisoft confirms that The Division will not include Brooklyn at launch, although the studio has shown plenty of footage from that area since the game’s announcement. The Division is poised to bring near-total destruction to New York in less than two months, when a virtual Big Apple will become filled with thousands of players attempting to carve out a space for their own survival after society falls to its knees. The premise of The Division is daunting, and evidently so has been developing of a game of this size: Ubisoft has now confirmed that one of the previously featured boroughs of New York - Brooklyn - won’t be available at the time of the game’s launch....

Star Wars: Squadrons will launch with eight playable starfighters. Half of them will be different types of Imperial TIE fighters, and the other will be different Rebel “wings.” However, when Squadrons revealed this list of ships to the public, fans quickly noticed that the B-wing — possibly the most popular wing-model of them all — wasn’t included. As such, when Star Wars: Squadrons Director Ian Frazier held a recent press event for the game, fans took the opportunity to ask him directly whether or not the B-wing — along with other popular starfighters — would be included in a potential future update....

Before Stardew Valley received its latest update, there was little to do after you passed a certain amount of time in the game. WARNING: this review contains spoilers for all three episodes of Stonehouse At first glance, ITV drama Stonehouse has all the usual true crime trimmings: deceit, betrayal, untimely death (well, sort of), but it’s quickly apparent that this is not your average true crime drama. The set and costume design gives a sizable early hint that this won’t be a particularly gritty story – instead of bleak and sinister it’s luxurious and rich with jewel tones – and rather than the usual ominous true crime soundtrack we get jaunty, spoofy spy music....

Fans of horror games on PC have yet another in-development title to keep an eye on. Wednesday mid-day saw the announcement of Dark Moonlight, a survival horror game being made for PC. The first-person horror game offers up a variety of challenging puzzles, as well as weapon-based combat and boss fights. Developed by Silent Bear Studio and published by Black Rose Projects, both based in Poland, Dark Moonlight is being made for PC and has yet to announce a release window....

Resident Evil Village does not come out until May 7, 2021. However, a certain character revealed from the game has taken the Internet’s attention by storm. That character is Lady Dimitrescu, a both beautiful and frightening, nine-foot-tall mutant. What is known about her so far (other than her height) is that she is a countess that controls a fortress called Castle Dimitrescu. She is the matriarch of a family that has controlled the castle since Medieval times....

Rare may be one of the longest-running and most beloved developers ever. If you were a child of the ’90s and early 2000s then you likely have fond memories of most of their games.
