A tier-ranking is the best tool players have to gauge a fighter’s combat power. It’s widely debated within the Smash community where fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate should be placed. Characters are judged on attributes such as speed but also moves like Smash Attacks and Final Smash. Ranking each fighter is a toilsome task since a fighter’s combat power is relative to others. Since DLC characters continually release, tier-rankings are not definitive, as they are shaken up routinely....

The developers of the System Shock 2 remake have revealed that they are working on virtual reality support for the game. Nightdive Studios has been fairly quiet on System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition, the upcoming remake of the class immersive sim PC game, since it was first announced in August 2019. The studio is also developing the remake of the original System Shock, launched as part of the Steam Game Festival in December 2019....

Disney’s annual shareholders presentation (booked as an online event) was bound to produce at least a couple of announcements related to its future Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars projects. However, few were prepared for the absolute news hurricane that the company sent out yesterday with over 50 productions already scheduled up to 2025, including at least 12 in the Star Wars universe. It bears clarifying that a lot of these announcements were actually updates rather than completely fresh news previously unknown to the public....

Much like the zombies that dot the landscape in Telltale’s acclaimed adaption of The Walking Dead, the studio has managed to bring a genre back from the dead. While point-and-click adventure games fell out of favor in the late 90’s, the California-based developer worked diligently on releasing adventure games based on beloved franchises such as Back to the Future and Homestar Runner. But it wasn’t until The Walking Dead that the studio was thrust into the public eye....

He always said he’d be back. Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he will make an appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con - and he won’t be alone. On July 18, in Hall H, Terminator: Dark Fate will begin its star-studded presentation at 11 AM PST. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, this will put it ahead of all other Hall H presenters at the convention. The Dark Fate presentation promises to show off new footage from James Cameron’s upcoming sequel, which hits theaters November 1st....

It was recently confirmed that the 1TB Xbox Series X only has roughly 802GB of usable space, meaning that almost 200GB of its storage capacity is inherently devoted to its OS and system files. The news comes from IGN, where a hands-on preview with the Xbox Series X was recently published. As well as discussing new features like faster load times and Quick Resume, the preview includes information pertaining to how much of the Xbox Series X’s storage capacity is actually available to you — something that is of particular importance when you remember that game file sizes are quickly becoming much larger (although it’s worth noting that file sizes will be up to 30% smaller on Xbox Series S)....

Every year, Valve acknowledges the best games on its massive platform with the annual Steam Awards. Unlike most award ceremonies, the Steam Awards tends to have a bit more fun with its categories. There’s still the usual best game of the year and perhaps a few nods to ongoing or innovative games, but there’s always at least one category acknowledging a new development in gaming for the year. Slated to hit PC and consoles later this month, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope already looks to be a wonderfully creepy new gem from Supermassive Games. The developer has a solid resume thus far, working on the excellent Until Dawn and the first entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology, Man of Medan. The Division players who are logging on to check out the new Clear Sky Incursion have discovered that the latest endgame experience is extremely short. With the launch of Update 1.2, Division developer Massive Entertainment is hoping to jumpstart its community. The introduction of new content, a better loot system, and new gear to collect are sure to all help with drawing players back in, but it is likely the launch of the new Incursion, titled Clear Sky, that has most people excited....

The Expanse Season 2 Episode 11 The Expanse had so much going on this week, it’s difficult to decide which element packed the most punch: Bobbie’s defection, Holden’s dangerous discovery, the cryptic spectacle on Venus, or Avasarala’s impending meeting with Jules-Pierre Mao. Because Bobbie requesting UN asylum involved actual punching, that would be the best bet, and certainly the Martian marine’s story has been a highlight of recent episodes....
