Capcom reports that Street Fighter 5 has sold just 1.4 million copies since its February launch, meaning that the game has sold less than 100,000 units between May and September. Tencent continued its spending spree today by purchasing a minority stake in Dontnod Entertainment. The studio is responsible for hit indie titles such as Life is Strange, Vampyr, and Twin Mirror. The company spent €30 million on the purchase, and those funds will reportedly go towards self-publishing Dontnod’s next IP on PC, console, and mobile. The two also entered a business agreement that revolves around the mobile gaming market in China, indicating Tencent will likely help Dontnod break into the burgeoning marketplace....

Tekken 7 launched its fourth season of content, and Kunimitsu has joined the battle today as the game’s 16th DLC fighter. There is also a free update, according to Niche Gamer. The King of Iron Fist Tournament has brought back the fast-paced thief Kunimitsu to the fight with her rapid attacks and blades wreathed in red and blue flames. Capcom’s crossover card game Teppen has added slightly less well-known characters in the last several months. First, there was Amaterasu from the cult classic Okami, and after her it was Oichi from Sengoku Basara, which while a massive franchise in Japan, isn’t particularly recognizable in the West. Now the game is treading much more familiar ground, as the latest playable hero to join the roster is Ada Wong from the Resident Evil series....
After months of waiting, PS4 players will finally be able to experience the multiplayer madness that is Tetris Effect: Connected in July. Revealed a few days ago over on the PlayStation Blog, the free update to the base game will be coming next month while an open beta for current owners will begin on June 23 at 8 pm PDT to test out the kinks. Launched late last year as an Xbox-timed exclusive, Tetris Effect: Connected introduced a multiplayer suite to the trippy, visually outstanding main game that let friends battle each other or team up to take down pixelated bosses....

Dark Souls is an excellent game. Gamers who wanted more from this series would’ve been elated at the prospect of a sequel that would bring forth more of the same interconnected level design and perfectly tailored difficulty. It’s fair to say that Chris Mark didn’t have a whole lot to do in The Boys’ Season 2 as Blindspot! At least, it doesn’t look like we’ll see him pop up again any time soon. Mark is a prolific and respected stunt performer and fight choreographer, who you’ve probably already seen in a bunch of things to date. Though the Canadian actor’s speaking roles are less common, he recently appeared as Yuuto Murakami in Netflix’s October Faction and as Bruce Lee in Hulu’s Future Man, but it’s as a stuntman that he’s notched up most of his credits in the likes of Suicide Squad, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Pacific Rim and Star Trek Beyond....
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is now available to be experienced via early access, and there is no doubt that a lot of players are currently focusing their efforts on reaching level 30 as fast as possible ahead of the full launch later this week. This is primarily due to the fact that reaching higher levels means getting better weapons and gear, which will allow players to be more adequately equipped while facing conflicts in the game, and standing a better chance at surviving and getting even higher-tiered loot in the title’s PvPvE areas known as Dark Zones....

In episode 3, he decides to do the right thing, but this decision is easier said than done. With crowded scenes and a surprising wealth of exposition from this often dialogue-light show, there are plenty of Star Wars hints to unpack....
