The Star Wars franchise used to be a lot more expansive than it is today. What was once the Expanded Universe that was comprised of dozens upon dozens of games, novels, and comic books was removed from canon and turned into “Legends” stories shortly after Disney purchased Lucasfilm back in 2012. A lot fans were torn up by the decision, because it meant that Star Wars lore that reached hundreds of years before and after the movies took place was suddenly erased, along with the many beloved characters within it....

Disney has confirmed that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be available on Disney Plus starting from May 4, 2020. May 4, known as “Star Wars Day” because of how closely “May the 4th” sounds like “may the force,” will also see the debut of several other pieces of Star Wars content. Fans of The Mandalorian will be able to enjoy a new documentary about how the show was made, called Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian....

The rumor alleges that Canadian-Egyptian actor Mena Massoud, whom fans might remember from his portrayal of the titular protagonist in Disney’s live-action Aladdin, will be joining the show’s cast as the spunky street kid-turned Jedi, Ezra Bridger. Rather fitting given his previous well-known role, which lends a bit of credence to the currently unconfirmed report. Plus, given the franchise’s penchant for fan service, such as including fellow Rebels character Hera Syndulla in Star Wars: Squadrons, fans might be even more willing to believe it....

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to EA Play on November 10, which happens to be the exact same day the service will be added to Xbox Game Pass. This means anyone who is a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber will likely be able to play the latest Star Wars adventure without dropping a dime. Harvest Town, a farming simulator previously released on Android, has finally landed on the App Store. iOS owners can now join in on the shockingly-similar-to-Stardew-Valley action, building up your farm from scratch and getting to know your fellow townsfolk. Respawn Entertainment has mostly remained quiet about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Apart from a confirmation of the game’s name and setting, fans have been kept in the dark. The best horror films are always about something else. When Final Fantasy Tactics released in 1997, it quickly became a popular spin-off of the franchise.
