Universal and Dreamworks have made some more tweaks to their upcoming 2021 release schedule. While the company hasn’t given an official reason for the small adjustments, it’s a fairly safe bet that they are due to continuing uncertainty surrounding the abatement of the Coronavirus epidemic. One of the changes made was to the release date of The Boss Baby: Family Business, which will now come out later than originally expected....

The next set of free and paid DLC has been announced for Predator: Hunting Grounds, featuring the City Hunter and Alpha Predator. Gamers can now play The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan for free, without owning the game, it has been announced. The reviews of The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan were incredibly positive about its gameplay and its story, and this free pass allows friends to enjoy that together. On Twitter, The Dark Pictures said that owners of The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan will be getting another free Friend’s Pass allowing a friend to play through the game for free....

Fans have been waiting for news about The Elder Scrolls 6 ever since Bethesda first announced the game back at E3 2018. That news, however, has been few and far between, and very little of it has been confirmed by official Bethesda sources. A new leak has suggested that The Elder Scrolls 6 will contain survival mechanics in its base game, as well as a new system which will allow players to craft their own spells....

Fans of the original game were happy to see The Evil Within 2 revealed at E3 earlier this year. While its predecessor had some rough edges, it was a promising horror game in an underserved genre, with flashes of the same magic that made Resident Evil 4 one of the most critically acclaimed titles of all time. The big question was, could the sequel build upon the foundations laid by the first game and solidify the budding franchise as a bona fide horror classic....

Twitch streamer The Happy Hob has completed yet another no-hit run, this time besting The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion without taking damage from an enemy. Hob was nearing the end of a self-imposed goal to complete the no-hit run, and was facing a punishment that would have given him a bowl cut. Luckily, the content creator was able to finish the Oblivion no-hit run just in time. The Happy Hob’s potential no-hit run was looking all but in the bag, but there were constant concerns about a late-game fight....

There’s no doubt that The Last of Us: Part 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games in recent memory, with fans scouring for as many scraps as possible about the forthcoming PlayStation exclusive. For instance, fans recently latched onto a small, albeit potentially important detail about The Last of Us: Part 2’s weapon upgrade system in a Naughty Dog promo video despite the image being almost inscrutable. Now, TLOU2 fans are able to speculate about a potential new cast member and their role, with the American rapper Logic having been teased as being in the game....

After a year of speculation, Chapter 13 of The Mandalorian, suitably titled “The Jedi,” has finally given fans some of the answers they’ve been searching for. Not only does the episode reveal what fan-favorite hero Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) has been up to since the end of the Rebels animated series but it also gives Baby Yoda/The Child a proper name. The Merry Mushmen recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund Knock! Issue One, an old school roleplaying adventure gaming ‘zine filled with tabletop roleplaying gaming content. The campaign’s $4,246 goal has been thoroughly smashed ($45,436 as of this writing), with only seven days remaining for you to open the door on one of the three reward tiers. The Kick-master for this campaign is Olivier Revenu, a tabletop roleplayer since 1983, game designer, and publisher of Battles Magazine, an independent wargames magazine....

PlayStation has confirmed that it is launching a new store on web and mobile, and the web version will be here as soon as October 21, 2020. The release of PlayStation and Xbox’s next-gen consoles is almost upon us, and both of the teams behind the systems will be hard at work getting the final pieces in place. It could be argued that this will be the biggest console launch in the history of both Xbox and PlayStation as each will be releasing two consoles from day one of the next generation....

With their former home on Kamino cut off from them in more ways than one, the Bad Batch now call information broker Cid’s cantina their home base…until an aspiring crime lord tries to take it over in “Infested.” They quickly hatch a plan to put Cid back in power and dive deep beneath the surface of the planet Ord Mantell. It’s a pretty self-contained episode, with a brand new villain and without the many connections to the rest of the franchise that came with the Ryloth episodes before it....

EA squashes any hopes for Star Wars Battlefront DLC based off of The Force Awakens, officially stating that they’re focusing solely on the original trilogy. Star Wars Battlefront has received a fairly mixed response from gamers and critics, but given that its release was so close to the release of the newest Star Wars film, it’s no surprise that gamers were nonetheless excited for the title. However, fans of the latest film may be saddened to learn that there are no plans for Star Wars Battlefront to include DLC based off Episode VII....

One thing Star Wars fans and gamers have wanted for a long time is a proper remake or remaster of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. But despite it recently coming to Xbox One via the console’s backward compatibility, it seems fans will be waiting longer now. After all, the fan remake of the game by Poem Studios have effectively been shut down by Lucasfilm. For the uninitiated, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Apeiron has been a fan made remake project in the works for some time....

DC Universe and The CW’s Stargirl recently concluded its first season in August, wrapping up the 13-episode arc of Courtney Whitmore’s development into the titular heroine. However, the season one finale also hinted at what’s to come when the series returns by introducing the DC villains known as the Shade and Eclipso. Based on the comic book of the same name by creator Geoff John, Stargirl season one followed high school girl Courtney Whitmore as she becomes the inspiration for a new generation of superheroes after discovering Starman’s Cosmic Staff and learning that her stepfather Pat Dugan used to be the hero’s sidekick during their time with The Justice Society of America....

NightDive Studios reveals that their upcoming RPG remaster for System Shock is coming to KickStarter very soon through a reveal trailer on its Facebook page.
