For all of the praise and excitement fans have had for EA and DICE regarding their efforts on Star Wars Battlefront 2, the tide has seemingly turned against them in the weeks leading up to its launch. Issues began once fans discovered the inclusion of loot boxes into the game that essentially enabled players to spend real money to help unlock better gear. Star Wars Battlefront is getting Rogue One tie-in DLC that will feature the tropical planet of Scarif as well as Rogue One characters Jyn Erso and Director Orson Krennic. Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture confirmed last month that a port of classic visual novel, The Silver Case, would come to the Switch. But following a new trailer today, they’ve now confirmed it’ll launch on February 18th in Japan, and they revealed new box art. Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture back in 1999, this edition is known as The Silver 2425, which includes both The Silver Case and its 2005 sequel, The 25th Ward: The Silver Case....

Bullet-hell, boss-rush adventure game, ITTA, will be receiving the physical treatment next week, as Super Rare Games has revealed a partnership with Glass Revolver and Armor Games Studios to bring the indie title to Nintendo Switch via cartridge. Only 5,000 copies will be available - 3,000 standard editions, 2,000 SteelBook editions - and will go on sale on Super Rare Games’ website on January 7, 2021, at 1pm ET. The standard edition will be available for roughly $37, while the SteelBook version will be around $54....

Team Liquid has officially signed a competitive VALORANT roster, the premier esports organization revealed today. The team is made up of the former fish123 squad, which made a name as one of the best VALORANT teams in Europe during the game’s beta. Hideki Kamiya of PlatinumGames has explained the purpose behind the investment the company received from Tencent, which has more to do with mobile games than with console titles. PlatinumGames has worked with a number of different publishers over the years, including Microsoft, Nintendo, and Square Enix. The issue that the company has had with these partnerships is that the publishers own rights to different PlatinumGames franchises. As such, Platinum decided to move into self-publishing its games, which was kicked off with the Kickstarter project for The Wonderful 101: Remastered....

Re-Logic CEO Andrew Spinks has stated that Terraria will no longer be coming to Stadia after his account was reportedly blocked by Google. Spinks took to Twitter earlier this morning in order to express his frustration about Google blocking him from using several of its key services. According to the first tweet in his thread, Spinks has been locked out of his Google account for over three weeks. Spinks goes on to explain that his phone has lost access to thousands of dollars worth of apps on Google Play and that he can no longer finish watching Lord of the Rings in 4K....
