The Batman: Arkham game series or as fans have dubbed it, the Arkhamverse, hasn’t received a new mainline title to the series since 2015 with Batman: Arkham Knight. While the wait for the next Batman title’s release may be a long one, fans are free to speculate what may be upcoming in the series’ future. During this wait, Telltale’s Batman: The Enemy Within was released and it showed players more of Batman’s secret identity, Bruce Wayne....

The Nintendo Switch has come insanely close to hitting a major sales milestone, as the system has almost outsold the NES as of the end of June. Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett is only a few weeks away, marking a major turning point for the fan-favorite character who was originally “killed off” on the big screen in 1983. But now Boba Fett‘s back (played by Temuera Morrison) and teaming up with assassin Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) to take over Jabba the Hutt’s old criminal empire on Tatooine. According to the trailers released so far, the prime focus of the seven-episode series will be Boba and Fennec’s adventures on the dangerous desert planet and their quest to reunite Jabba’s captains under their banner....

Video game publisher Electronic Arts confirms Star Wars Battlefront contains a single-player campaign, as well as content from “multiple eras” in the film franchise. As many fans of 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront will likely attest, one of the major drawbacks in DICE and Electronic Arts’ science fiction first-person shooter relates to the fact that the game didn’t launch with a single-player campaign. Thankfully, it seems as if the title’s publisher and developer have been keen to listen to the community, as Electronic Arts’ CEO Andrew Wilson has now confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will include a single-player campaign....

The team behind Cyberpunk 2077 just can’t seem to catch a break. Following the CD Projekt Red hack earlier this week, those responsible are now reportedly auctioning off several of the developer’s source codes, including Cyberpunk 2077. It was revealed earlier this week that CD Projekt Red was hit by a cyber attack, with the attacker(s) demanding a ransom for the source code of several of its games, including Cyberpunk 2077, Gwent, and an unreleased version of The Witcher 3....

Last week, The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley announced Summer Game Fest, a four month long digital event showcasing upcoming games. Microsoft’s Inside Xbox event on May 7 will be the start of Summer Game Fest, and Gamescom on August 24 will serve as the finale. Following the Inside Xbox presentation on May 7, the next Summer Game Fest event will take place on Tuesday, May 12 at 9am PT. The Super Mario Galaxy series is among some of the best adventures the red and blue plumber has ever embarked on. The original Super Mario Galaxy released in November 2007 worldwide on Nintendo’s new surprise commercial hit of a system, the Wii. It looks like Tencent has a larger role in System Shock 3’s development than we initially believed. System Shock fans were devastated to learn that OtherSide Entertainment had laid off the team working on System Shock 3 last February. This came after publisher Starbreeze ran into financial troubles and pulled out of the project, leaving indie studio OtherSide without the funds to continue development.
