Fans of Bandai Namco’s long-running Tekken franchise will get even more out of its current entry Tekken 7 with the release of its fourth season pass. After revealing Tekken 7 Season Pass 4’s trailer in September, the Tekken Project team officially narrowed down its previously vague fall 2020 release date today, and players can get their hands on its contents soon. The next season pass will officially begin rolling out on November 10, according to a tweet from the official Tekken social media account....

It’s a hard time to be a Telltale Games employee as the company has announced a 25% reduction in its overall workforce. The pioneers in decision-based gaming will see a comprehensive company restructuring that requires about 90 employee layoffs, effective immediately. The recent event was designed to make the Telltale Games more competitive as a developer and publisher with an emphasis on high quality in the years ahead. It also means that the company will be able to make fewer games from this point forward, but hopefully at a better quality level than the titles have seen in the past....

HBO’s Game of Thrones is about to enter its fourth glorious season. Sadly, for fans of the brand the series has yet to produce one quality gaming title. With just a single, lackluster RPG retail game already in the bag - developed by the appropriately named Cyanide Studios — the quest to claim the iron throne has so far remained a frustratingly hands-off affair. The first wave of reviews is in for the most anticipated and mysterious release of 2020. While movigoers are still pleasantly unspoiled on just what exactly Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is about, or even what its title means, initial critical consensus is emerging less than a week out from the film’s international debut in markets that include the UK and other parts of Europe and Asia. Depending on who you ask, the opinion ranges from this is a fine piece of eye-candy and Nolan brain-teasing to it’s evidence Nolan has devolved into self-parody....

As far as blockbuster sequels go, Terminator 2: Judgment Day remains widely hailed as one of the best, having constructed a skillfully expanded spectacle without redefining the original premise. There is no denying what fuels interest in anime. It’s powered by the Kamehameha blasts, shinobi battles and grand adventures of pirates that make up much of the anime introduced to western countries long before streaming platforms made so many other shows accessible. In one of the pandemic’s pop culture gifts, The CW is now airing CBC’s 2019 drama Coroner, which has already aired 2 seasons in Canada and has been renewed for a third. Serinda Swan plays Jenny Cooper, an ER doctor who, when we first meet her in the premiere, has lost her husband suddenly to a brain aneurysm that occurred at their teenage son’s swim meet. Jenny quits her job and becomes a coroner, moving her son Ross (Ehren Kassam) out of the city to a ramshackle home of one of the first deceased people she examines, a home that comes with its own handyman, Liam Bouchard (Éric Bruneau, in a rare English-speaking role)....

Since The Division 2 was officially announced earlier this year, announcements for the game has been hitting all of the correct beats with players. Fans were delighted when it was confirmed that the shooter would be taking the action to Washington D.C., while the confirmation that the game can be played entirely solo has also appeased less social players. Fans of the Mass Effect series went into 2021 knowing the remastered original trilogy, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, would be released at some point this spring. This week, the news finally broke that the upcoming remastered trilogy, including over 40 different DLC expansions, is available for pre-order ahead of its May 14 release date.
