The short teaser for The Last of Us Part 2 leaves its story open to interpretation, but some fans think they’ve already cracked the game’s biggest mystery. After a lot of speculation over whether a sequel would be made at all, The Last of Us Part 2 was officially announced at PSX last weekend with a short, but emotionally-charged teaser trailer. There wasn’t a lot to go on, in terms of how the story will play out, but that hasn’t stopped eager The Last of Us fans from trying to figure it out anyway....

I never expected I’d play over 40 hours of New Pokemon Snap, but here we are. The original Pokemon Snap is one of my most replayed games of all time because it’s exceptionally short. EA revealed new gameplay and story for Star Wars: Squadrons at Gamescom 2020, featuring TIE fighters and X-Wings in dogfighting action. The Gamescom video features elements of the game’s story. The Empire’s Titan Squadron is tasked with taking out Project Starhawk, and protecting an escaping spy. Things go sideways when Republic cruisers show up, and that’s where the action ends - with the player’s TIE Fighter turning to take on the approaching X-Wings while the spy gets out....

A Steam update released yesterday is implying that paid game modifications may be returning sooner rather than later, despite the system’s past controversies. Many PC gamers were hoping that the paid mod fiasco on Steam was over, never to return. Yet deep in their hearts, PC gamers knew the truth of the matter: Valve would never give up on such a large potential stream of revenue. Now it appears those fears were well founded, as the first steps toward the return of paid game modifications have seemingly been made....

Apex Legends has had some strange bugs in the past, like one that let players fire their weapon even after being downed. However, a new bug shared online involving a deathbox may take the cake as one of the craziest ones. Developer Respawn Entertainment is usually quick to resolve issues in Apex Legends, with problems like Rampart’s turret crashing the game when placed on a Trident being fixed in a little over a week....

Twitch streamer “Jaystreazy” experienced a particularly bad day in Vietnam, after a passing motorcyclist yanked his phone. The IRL streamer was crossing the street when, in the blink of an eye, a thief managed to pull off a steal-and-peal maneuver. In the clip, Jay is walking back to his hotel at night when he stops to let a motorcyclist pass him. The cyclist, fully covered in a helmet, goggles, and balaclava, proceeds to slow down at the same time....

Though Rust has been around since 2013, the game just started gaining steam this winter thanks to some of the most popular Twitch streamers on the platform picking it up. There is, however at least one very popular influencer who has so far, resisted the Rust siren call. Summit1g recently detailed why he’s not all that interested in playing the game, at least on the OfflineTV server. Some of Twitch’s most viewed content producers, including xQc, Shroud, Pokimane, and Sodapoppin, played on the OfflineTV server at one time or another in the last few months....

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will include a feature allowing you to slow down the gameplay during trickier courses. The Super Monkey Ball series will be revived later this year via Banana Mania. Banana Mania will include more than 300 remastered stages from the first three Super Monkey Ball games. However, it will also bring elements from other games in the series, as well as some brand new features too. One of those features was shown off on Twitter by Super Monkey Ball producer Masao Shirosaki....

The 100 Season 7 is here! Sadly, this will be the last outing for The 100. CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed during the network’s 2019 Summer TCA press tour appearance that The 100 season 7 will be the show’s final season, though it may live on in a prequel series. As a midseason premiere, The 100 was one of the lucky shows to wrap up production before the COVID-19 hit, so we will be getting an entire season of the science fiction drama....

Ubisoft Massive’s The Division has dethroned Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 by a gigantic margin when it comes to digital revenue, but does the title have any staying power? It was only a matter of time, but something has finally knocked Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 off the top perch in regards to digital revenue. As most gamers could probably guess, the new champion is none other than Ubisoft Massive’s The Division, which broke sales records around the globe upon its release early last month....

Now that Tom Clancy’s The Division has been out for a few weeks, players have had more than enough time to explore every inch of the game’s New York City map. The idea of streaming games via the internet would’ve been a pipe dream just five years ago. Games with enormous day one patches used to be a huge controversy for fans at the beginning of the console generation, so obviously the proposition of playing entire games using cloud streaming just five years later is a hard sell.
