Yesterday, Naughty Dog and Sony released a slew of The Last of Us: Part 2 merchandise to celebrate Outbreak Day. This included an interesting poster of what appears to be a man holding a hammer, with a flaming car in the background. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that this poster seems to hide a hidden image that could hint at the story direction the upcoming sequel will take. If one looks closely enough, the flames rising from the car makes the outline of a wolf’s face....

Ever since coming out back in 2017 as a Nintendo Switch launch title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild players continue to find secrets and cool techniques that only die-hard fans can discover. Hasbro’s HasLab platform has allowed fans to crowdfund multiple large-scale products since it was reestablished in 2018, including a 26-inch tall figure of a sentinel from X-Men comics lore. Now, HasLab’s latest crowdfunding project adds the Razor Crest spacecraft from Disney+ and Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian to its Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. The first season of The Mandalorian introduced Star Wars fans to a brand new spacecraft dubbed the Razor Crest, the primary means of transportation for the titular bounty hunter and his accidental companion, Baby Yoda....

Star Citizen, the multiplayer space trading and combat simulator, has just surpassed another astounding funding milestone. After reaching $250 million near the end of 2019, the development team has just announced that they’ve broken $300 million in funding over the game’s 9 years of development. Star Citizen began development back in 2011 before it launched a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2013. From there, most of its funding has come in the form of players buying ships and other in-game items with real money....

The fourth generation of the Pokemon franchise was revealed to the world in 2006 with the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and the reception was, at best, underwhelming. The Summer Games Done Quick 2020 online-only event schedule has been revealed by the event organizers. The charity speedrun begins on August 16 and will feature retro classics and popular indies. After the quarantine hit, organizers of the speedrunning event had to promptly make the decision to take the popular congregation of lightning-fast gamers online. The event will run from August 16-23 and will showcase over 140 speedruns; all of the fundraising profits will be donated to the charity Doctors Without Borders....

Super Mario 64 is often considered the grandfather of 3D platforming. The Nintendo 64 classic ushered in a new era gaming by gracefully allowing the plushy plumber to bash Bowser into oblivion in the world of 3D. The Super Mario series would not be the same moving forward, and for the better. With the COVID-19 pandemic heating up in a lot of places, it’s increasingly likely that more and more movies will see delays of some sort. This includes the upcoming fantasy epic The Green Knight, a movie originally slated to premiere this summer, but those eager to see it will still have something to look forward to before the season’s over, courtesy of a tie-in tabletop RPG. While it’s currently a mystery when the movie itself will be released now, distributor A24 announced in a press release today that The Green Knight: A Fantasy Roleplaying Game is now available to purchase on its website for $35, with orders planned to ship on August 7....
