In less than one week, Respawn Entertainment’s first title, Titanfall, will hit store shelves for Xbox One and PC. While most of the content has already been leaked in regards to day one stages, Electronic Arts has confirmed that there will be additional content arriving across all platforms at a later point in time. As is usually the case for an onslaught of future downloadable content, it’s been confirmed that a Season Pass for Titanfall will be made available alongside the game’s launch....

Much has been said about the future of Star Wars now that the Skywalker Saga has come to a close. Lucasfilm finally gave us a glimpse at a special Project Luminous event in February where the company unveiled Star Wars: The High Republic, a new series of interconnected stories that will cover adult, middle-grade, and young adult books as well as IDW and Marvel comics. The Bad Batch is the newest animated chapter in the Star Wars saga. Set immediately after Revenge of the Sith, the show explores the rise of the Empire from the perspective of a group of “genetically mutated” clones who never fit in with their own kind and fit in even less after Order 66. Unlike the rest of the Clone Army, the members of Clone Force 99 (the official designation of the group nicknamed “The Bad Batch”) are unaffected by the secret inhibitor chips implanted in their brains, which quickly puts a target on their back, especially after they refuse to execute Jedi on the battlefield....

On its website page, Steam Database has announced that the Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2021, which coincides with the Chinese New Year, will run from February 11 to February 15. Although not as spectacular as the winter and summer sales, the New Year sale still promises deep discounts on countless games. Although the dates have not been officially confirmed by Valve, they were reportedly leaked from an email to Steam partners....

Valve just never stops tinkering. The latest experiment to hit Steam Labs is a huge expansion of Steam’s categories and even provides each one with its own landing page to boot. “We aim to increase the surface area of the store by introducing a broader set of ways to browse Steam’s catalog of games from the outset,” reads the Steam Labs page for Experiment 010: Browsing Steam. The main aim is to provide new and useful points of entry to explore sub-genres, themes, and ways to play....

Originally launching in 2005, Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse will no longer require foraging through stacks of discs to play, as a March 2021 re-release of the OG Xbox game is planned for modern systems. Originally developed by developer Wideload, this port is being handled by porting specialists Aspyr (who handled the Star Wars Episode 1: Racer port for modern consoles). Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse seems to be next in what is shaping up to be an exciting trend....

During the DC Fandome event, Rocksteady co-founder Sefton Hill confirmed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will continue in the Arkham universe, while WB Montreal’s Gotham Knights will not. The Gotham Knights trailer shows the death of Bruce Wayne and the Bat-Family taking up the mantle as the protectors of Gotham. While the scenario of Gotham Knights somewhat lines up with the ending of Arkham Knight, WB Montreal confirms that their game takes place in a different continuity....

Adventurers League admins put out the rules for how the newest D&D book fits into standardized play. As some feared, Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything is a +1. As the name implies, Team Sonic Racing is all about racing in teams. While you can race individually outside of the game’s story mode, personally, we think racing as a team is much more fun. You can definitely tell that’s how Sega intended the game to be played. If you stick to the trios in which the racers are grouped, you will have one character from each type in your team....

Terraria has now sold over 35 million copies across all platforms. As revealed by developer, Re-Logic, on the game’s official forum, the game has sold 17.2 million units on PC, 8.5 million on consoles, and 9.3 million on mobile devices. However, this isn’t the only milestone that the game is celebrating. Terraria has also beaten the likes of Portal 2 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to take top spot on the Steam Top 250, which lists the best Steam games of all time according to gamer reviews; which means that it is now the best reviewed game available on the platform....

The Gummi Ship is often regarded as one of if not the single weakest point of the Kingdom Hearts series that every new title has had to attempt to retroactively fix this section of the game. There’s a lot to love about Disco Elysium. In my review, I called out its technical issues and the problems with an overly niche style of gameplay in an experience that should be welcoming to all, especially given its themes - but aside from that, I couldn’t find a fault. Even then, I appreciate that one is an objective flaw, while the other is more of a personal problem with the presentation....

With the indefinite cancellation of Trials of Osiris, Bungie confirmed what we already knew: there’s no easy fix for a conspiracy. So many Destiny 2 players were using the Hakke Emblem Method to cheat their way into the Lighthouse that Bungie had to immediately shut down trials in the middle of last weekend. Now, it appears that Trials will remain on hold until the developers can figure out how to disrupt the conspirators....
