Super Animal Royle is a charming, whimsical, and fun battle royale centered around the animal kingdom. Super Animal Royale has been around the PC gaming space since 2018, but as of June 2021, it has been available on Xbox One in its Game Preview (early access) form. A Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to also release in the summer of 2021. While the game has been popular on PC, a whole of new Xbox players and soon-to-be Switch users get to jump into this utterly enjoyable 64-player battle royale....

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been hailed as a difficult game befitting the reputation of developer From Software, but that serious tone and difficulty hasn’t prevented the modding community from having some whimsical fun with the action-adventure title. Recently, a modder known as Katalash swapped Sekiro’s great serpent with Thomas the Tank Engine, and now the same modder has seen fit to add Dreamwork Animations’ Shrek to the game. Combining Shrek’s graphics with the movements and actions of the Chained Ogre has created a wonderful yet terrifying version of the character, filled with good old fashioned nightmare fuel....

Apple’s 2024 Apple Watch could be the first to use an in-house display, according to a new report. The move would see Apple ditch its current display provider in favour of taking more control over the design of the component. While it’s reported that Apple will begin the move to its own displays with the Apple Watch, it’s also said that the company intends to move its biggest product over as well - the iPhone....

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a massive game, taking you 70 hours just to get through the main story, and easily over 100 hours to do everything. The Day Before, an upcoming open-world survival MMO set in a post-pandemic America featuring zombies, was announced just a few days ago, and fans of the survival genre are excited. Judging by the gameplay trailer The Day Before released on the announcement, the game appears to take some of the best elements from a few different games to blend them into one experience. One of the games that it appears The Day Before borrows from is DayZ, the open-world survival game that started as a mod and eventually became its own title....

You’d think that the zombie apocalypse would leave a few relatively unpopulated places devoid of zombies, but no; that’s now how zombie apocalypses work. After arriving at an apparently abandoned farmhouse, the protagonists accidentally trip a long-waiting home alarm and this causes dozens of zombies to all start streaming in from the nearby wheat fields. That’s the sort of thing you can expect in The Day Before, the upcoming open-world apocalyptic zombie MMO....

Todd Howard confirmed in an interview at Brighton Digital on November 2 that The Elder Scrolls 6’s map will be designed using procedural generation. The announcement has left some fans confused, with The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall also having used generated landscapes to create a map as large as Great Britain. However, the map of the upcoming Elder Scrolls game will not be randomly generated. Instead, procedural generation is one useful way to manage create huge areas of land in a game world, which will still be consistent across different playthroughs....

As the game progresses, players will see Ellie make some of the most uneasy decisions she’s ever done at the lowest point of her life. If it wasn’t for Dina, who always keeps Ellie on track, who only knows how further she could go and how many people she would have brutally killed....

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim continues to be an extraordinarily popular game even six years after its initial launch. The game initially launched on November 11, 2011, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. A Legendary Edition that contained all three DLC was released in 2013. A remastered Special Edition was released in 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. As if that wasn’t enough, Nintendo announced a version of Skyrim for the Switch that will launch during the 2017 Holiday season....

The next game in the Dragon Quest series will be bringing its iconic monsters into the real world, as Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest Walk for smartphones, which is a game that greatly resembles Pokémon Go. Dragon Quest Walk is an upcoming ARG that will feature the monsters from the Dragon Quest series. The player will take on the role of a hero and will encounter monsters in the same way as Pokémon Go - by walking around in the real world....

Growing up, I was a picky eater. I wasn’t so bad that I would only eat one bland dish, but my parents struggled to get me to try new foods. Eventually, the influence of television, particularly cooking and travel programs, urged me to broaden my horizons and expand my palate. A beloved feature from Crusader Kings 2 is set to return in the upcoming Crusader Kings 3 Update 1.3. Dueling lets you challenge troublesome characters to put them in their place, whether that be subservience, obedience, or six feet underground. However, duels won’t be a simple matter of throwing the dice and hoping that your monarch comes out on top. Duels will have an element of randomness so that a complete novice will still have a chance against a battle-hardened veteran, but duels will still also take into account things like skill, location, and the general feeling that both characters have for one another....
