Last week’s Xbox Games Showcase showed that Microsoft has a sizable lineup ready for the Xbox Series X’s holiday launch. Unfortunately, some fans criticized some of the third party titles on display, and the graphics in Halo Infinite’s segment. However, despite some of the lukewarm reactions, developers are standing by both their work and Microsoft’s next-gen console. In one such instance, the developers behind The Gunk, an Xbox exclusive presented at last week’s event, praised the console’s high quality hardware....

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has been revealed to sport yet another quality of life update for the Nintendo Switch: it will let you rotate the camera with the analog stick. The way that it works is that you can move the camera in motion controls mode but not in the new button controls mode unless you’re holding down L. You couldn’t rotate the camera in the original Skyward Sword since, like with Mario Galaxy, it was played with a Wii Remote and a Nunchuk - that’s only one analog stick to be clear....

The Mandalorian introduced Star Wars fans to an infant member of Yoda’s species referred to simply as The Child, whom fans quickly dubbed Baby Yoda. While the creative team on the series managed to keep Baby Yoda’s existence hidden until the first season premiered on Disney+, the secrecy surrounding the character created some confusion for a cast member of season two. According to Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki the studio’s latest film has completed 36 minutes of animation. Starfield is the latest open world RPG joining the increasingly large list of future Bethesda games. Unsurprisingly, the game has a huge amount of hype behind it. The two coinciding may speak volumes for what the Bethesda/Microsoft deal has in store for both companies and future games....

Xbox has been steadily adding new titles to their Netflix style subscription service, Game Pass, which will be getting even more additions to its already impressive line up next month. Users with an active subscription to Game Pass will gain access to 8 new games during the month of May, with the main headline being State Of Decay 2, one of Microsoft’s most anticipated exclusive games. Other games coming to the service include Laser League, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, Overcooked, The Escapists, Homefront: The Revolution, Unmechanical: Extended, and Sonic & Knuckles....

As expected, Steam China has launched today. This means that Chinese Dota 2 and CS:GO players will no longer be able to use either game’s old launcher and will need to sign up for Steam China in order to continue playing. And as it turns out, this migration is going pretty smoothly since those old launchers were actually just stripped-down versions of Steam. Some folks over at The University of Texas at San Antonio recently published some promising findings in the ongoing battle against cybersickness in VR. Cybersickness is a kind of motion sickness often experienced in VR, with symptoms generally including nausea, disorientation, or headache. A standard means of collecting cybersickness data is generally to use signals from an electroencephalogram - or EEG - rather than via other physiological measurements such as heart or breathing rates....

Xbox Game Pass for PC has added MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, bolstering an already strong lineup of games on the service. The game is still a recent release, originally launching in December last year, though it has had a mixed reception since then, with some citing poor AI as detrimental to the experience. Still, Microsoft’s rigorous additions to the platform have been admirable. The complete Game Pass library offers players hundreds of different titles across PC and Xbox One, and while some games are exclusive to one of the platforms, it still offers a solid value for those looking for a vast library of games to choose from....

It’s been rumored for a long time, and now it seems like the reports were true as The Evil Within 2 surfaces in the form of a new ad online. With Bethesda’s E3 Showcase scheduled for later today, it seems that an early posting for a Reddit advertisement might just have cost the developer the element of surprise. According to the ads which have been spotted my multiple users on Reddit, the sequel to 2014’s The Evil Within will be available for pre-order immediately following the reveal at E3 later today....

Yoyos can be tricky to aim on a console, which is why we’d recommend a player waits until Hardmode before trying out a full Yoyo build. Gen 5 of Pokémon GO had some incredibly powerful Pokémon. This is when top tier Pokémon like Zekrom, Landorus, and Conkeldurr were introduced – and immediately replaced Mewtwo as their “go-to” Pokémon.
