A couple of days ago, Microsoft launched the Xbox Summer Sale, which offers irresistible deals on over 400 titles with discounts up to 75% off on some of the biggest games on the Xbox One. It is worth noting though that those who have active Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions will receive an additional 10% off on select games. Headlining the Xbox Store’s Summer Sale is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which is available for $44....

Video game developer Fntastic has released an announcement trailer featuring a first look at gameplay for its MMO title The Day Before. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic America ravaged by a virus that has left many as flesh-eating infected. The Day Before features a combination of PvP and PvE elements and looks like a cross between The Division and The Last of Us. Within the first minute of the gameplay trailer for The Day Before, features like driving and managing fuel are shown off, along with a conversation with a friendly player using an in-game party chat....

During the ‘State of the Game’ Twitch livestream for Tom Clancy’s The Division, community developer Hamish Bode explains that new daily challenge missions are coming. Once Agents reach the current PvE level cap of 30 in The Division, one of the only remaining things for gamers to do outside of the Dark Zone is to participate in daily challenge missions. For gamers who are dedicated to grinding away at those daily missions, good news was revealed today: more challenge missions are on their way....

Timmy Turner better start getting his shiny teeth ready because The Fairly Odd Parents reboot TV series will begin production in Los Angeles this June. According to DiscussingFilm, Butch Hartman, the controversial creator of the cartoon, will be executive producing the project. Fred Siebert, the producer of hit shows like The Fairly Odd Parents, Adventure Time, and the Castlevania Netflix series, will also be starring alongside Hartman as an executive producer....

The upcoming Flash movie, which will see Ezra Miller reprising the role of Barry Allen, has officially added yet another superhero to its roster. Director Andy Muschietti announced, via a conversation he posted to his Instagram account, that actor Sasha Calle had been selected to play the role. Calle became visibly emotional once the director made it clear that she had been chosen to wear the red cape. Muschietti had a bit of fun first, asking Calle if she had the ability to physically fly....

Borderlands 3’s upcoming DLC will take players on a Lovecraftian-inspired wedding story, complete with all kinds of baddies, legendary weapons, and more. It even helped cement one certain postulation that has been around since the first: each DLC may actually bring back a former Vault Hunter as an NPC. Mad Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot brought back Timothy from the Pre-Sequel, for example, and Guns, Love, and Tentacles is stationed to bring back Gaige the Mechromancer....

Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing the next Superman movie. That good news has come alongside an avalanche of rumor and speculation. THR, for one, reports that unnamed sources say “the project is being set up as a Black Superman story.” Meanwhile Shadow and Act, a website centered on studying African diaspora in the arts and media, confirmed Coates’ involvement while also noting this is a full-fledged reboot with the search for a new Kal-El having yet to begin....

Brian Michael Bendis, the legendary comics writer and one of the sharpest eyes for talent in the entire comics industry, is wrapping up his long run on the Superman comics in December. Bendis made the jump to DC in 2018, after a 17 year (potentially industry-saving, depending on who you talk to) run at Marvel, and immediately landed on DC’s biggest character. Man of Steel launched his run which, when combined with his follow ups on Action Comics and Superman, will have stretched to almost 75 issues after December’s Action Comics #1028 and Superman #28 hit....

Back at Comic-Con TellTale Games treated Game Rant to an early look at their forthcoming adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead graphic novel series, which showed a lot of promise both in terms of its storytelling and gameplay possibilities. Unfortunately what was on display during Comic Con was very rough, and hadn’t really entered the “game” stage. But now, TellTale Games is nearing completion on The Walking Dead, and they just recently announced when the game’s first episode (1 of 5) would be releasing....

When Watch Dogs: Legion was first showcased at E3, it was hard to believe it was real. It didn’t visually look like something the PS4 or Xbox One could handle.
