A new trailer for Disney’s newest feature film Raya and the Last Dragon has just been released by Disney. The movie tells the story of Raya, a girl who is searching for the last dragon in order to try and restore peace to her land. Raya and the Last Dragon stars Kelly Marie Tran and also features voice acting by Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, and Benedict Wong. While Disney released a teaser for Raya and the Last Dragon in October 2020, the newest trailer provides the most comprehensive look yet at the story and world of the film....

The busiest month of the 2020 gaming calendar is almost at an end, with the (now) current-gen consoles finally on the market and the initial wave of systems out in the wild. The holiday season and the end of the year are also nearly here and many people will be glad to see the back of 2020. We just hope that Cyberpunk 2077 lives up to the hype, so that the gaming world can at least end 2020 with a bang....

While it’s never been particularly confirmed or denied otherwise, Atlus games have typically skewed towards PlayStation exclusivity in the past. Especially when it comes to mainline Persona games, every entry (and enhanced re-release like Persona 3 FES, Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal) has released on a PlayStation console. Only spin-offs manage to branch out beyond PlayStation’s portfolio, with games like Persona Q and Q2 releasing on the Nintendo DS and 3DS, respectively....

In addition to gear sets and the Underground DLC, Ubisoft officially announces that The Division will receive major weapon balancing in the next update. The Division initially offered a great deal of promise, but many gamers have been disheartened by the game’s number of exploits, glitches, and overall poor balance. While The Division’s playerbase has dropped drastically, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are still hard at work trying to fix some of the most irritating problems in the game, including unbalanced weapons....

Last weekend’s Digital Fan Festival came with a slew of Final Fantasy 14 announcements. Endwalker, the game’s tenth major expansion, will bring several new areas, new quests, new NPCs, and the new Reaper job class that channels the power of the void. Male Viera and female Hrothgar options were also confirmed to be on the horizon, although the female Hrothgar won’t be ready in time for Endwalker’s arrival. Square Enix also announced two big collaborations at Fan Fest 2021, including one with legendary guitar manufacturer Fender to make both a real-life and in-game electric guitar for Final Fantasy 14....

An update to the official Starfield site prompts fans to wonder if Bethesda is going to make a major announcement soon. Bethesda spoke about the game earlier this week confirming again that Starfield will be released before The Elder Scrolls 6. On the United States version of the Starfield site, the ESRB’s “rating pending” logo can now be found at the bottom. A “provisional” rating from British rating board PEGI, can also be seen on the UK version of the site....

We may only be halfway into the week but it’s been a busy few days for Valve’s Steam platform. Launching the Steam Discovery Update, the PC gaming service introduced a massive overhaul to its layout, also bringing with it an improved Steam Search function and the new Steam Curators feature too. The creator and game director of the original Suikoden JRPGs announced on Friday the development of a spiritual successor. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes an “ode to the classic Japanese RPG genre from the PlayStation era.” Eiyuden Chronicle will be launching a Kickstarter for funding July 27 with plans to launch on PC, and potentially PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X, in 2022. Features in Eiyuden Chronicle include 2.5 graphics mixing 3D assets with 2D pixel art for the game’s 100+ characters....
