It’s time for RPGs to offer immersive and compelling side quests, and I truly hope The Division has great side quests to help set a new standard in the industry. Everything I’ve seen about Tom Clancy’s The Division looks fantastic, and overall I’m very excited to play the game. In fact, as an Xbox One gamer, I’m especially looking forward to playing The Division beta later this month. However, there is one aspect of the game I’m worried about: the side quests....

According to a recent post on Electronic Arts’ website, more than 9 million players logged in and played during the beta test for Star Wars Battlefront. Yesterday, Star Wars Battlefront helped Electronic Arts unlock a significant achievement, as the sheer volume of players taking part in the action game’s beta test made for the “single largest beta in the history of EA,” according to senior producer Sigurlina Ingvarsdottir. The developer said the studio “could not be happier” that so many fans chose to experience what the company had built with Star Wars Battlefront....

Sombra is the latest Overwatch character to show up in Street Fighter V, thanks to a new mod that swaps in the hacker’s appearance in place of Laura Matsuda. Around a month ago a leaked off-screen video showed was said to be a re-release of Telltale Games’ Tales From the Borderlands. Titled Tales From the Borderlands Redux, the new release would feature a new epilogue of content, plus a ton of bonus content. A new leak put out on Saturday supports the Tales From the Borderlands Redux rumor, spoils the new content, and says that it hints at a new Tales From the Borderlands game – though not anytime soon....
