Sony has confirmed recent rumors regarding a PS5 version of The Medium by uploading a new trailer along with a release date. Indie publisher Super Rare today revealed a new in-house label focussed on shorter, more experimental games - Super Rare Shorts. These releases will be limited exclusively to physical versions for the Nintendo Switch, meaning no Steam releases, and nothing even on the Nintendo eShop. It’s physical or bust. All of these games will be made directly for the Super Rare Shorts label and will not be available anywhere else. While the birth of SimCity brought city-building into the realm of knowledge available to young gamers, the genre has managed to age with their audience, growing in complexity as technology made more minute simulation possible. Ubisoft announced The Division 2 earlier this week, finally confirming that the much-rumored sequel is in development at Massive Entertainment (with support from several other Ubisoft development teams).
