This Star Trek: Lower Decks article contains minor spoilers for “Veritas.” The voice-cameo of Jon de Lancie as Q in Episode 8 of Lower Decks is easily the series’ biggest callback to Star Trek: The Next Generation yet. In fact, the way Q appears in this episode is very reminiscent of how we think of him in TNG, down to his iconic judge’s robes, and his taunts about “testing humanity.” But, on some level, it feels like Q has actually regressed a bit....

As many fans expected, Star Wars Battlefront 2 was a major focus for EA during its newly annual EA Plays event, essentially serving as the final segment to the event. In addition to a brand new trailer which showed off more compelling single player campaign gameplay, players got their first look at the multiplayer and more news including some of DICE’s post launch plans as well. DICE confirms plans to address the severe balancing issues found in Star Wars Battlefront’s Walker Assault multiplayer match type, based on data collected from the beta. While many enjoyed the recent Star Wars Battlefront open beta, it also revealed some glaring flaws with the game. One of the most notable flaws was the lack of balance in the Walker Assault match type, to the point that it was extraordinarily difficult for those playing as the Rebels to ever pick up a victory....

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a critical and commercial success in 2019, with many fans calling it the perfect mixture between Dark Souls-style gameplay and the Star Wars universe. Not even a whole month ago, we ran a story about an Australian Fortnite streamer who supposedly hit his pregnant wife during a live broadcast.
