A former programmer of the original Snes Star Fox, Giles Goddard, told GamesXplain “It would be interesting to do a Star Fox, I think. But now how the others were done. I think I would just dial it back a lot and not put in gimmicks like the stuff Zero had.” It’s been half a decade since the last game in the series launched. It was dubbed Zero, and it released on the Wii U back in 2016 to decent reviews, currently holding a 69% score on Metacritic....

Star Wars Battlefront 2 players mod in many of the assets from the cancelled Star Wars Battlefront 3, including ships and characters from the prequel trilogy. While the Star Wars Battlefront series is now operating under the Electronic Arts umbrella with developer DICE at the helm, most have not forgotten the franchise’s roots as a LucasArts title. In fact, some die-hard fans are trying to keep the spirit of the original Star Wars Battlefront alive, even going so far as to create their own “sequels” using unofficial assets....

In a sad but unsurprising move, Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm shut down Galaxy in Turmoil, a fan-built spiritual successor to the classic Star Wars: Battlefront series. Ginger Island has been all the rage since it was added to Stardew Valley during the 1.5 updates. It introduces a single island in the Fern Islands that is home to a ton of new items and events. Fans of The Last of Us: Part 2 finally got to see some gameplay yesterday when it was shown off during Sony’s E3 2018 conference, and everyone seemed to agree that the game is looking beautiful. In fact, Head of Eidos Montreal Studio David Anfossi seemed to think it was a bit too beautiful, and took to Twitter to accuse some of the animations shown off as being fake. Eidos Montreal is the studio responsible for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, who also showed off some gameplay at E3 this year during Square Enix’s press conference....
