Zombies are pretty goddamn scary. They’re a quintessential horror villain, one of the most frightening and most intimate forces of evil in the hallowed genre. Ghosts might haunt you, murderers might stalk you, terrifying sea monsters might pull you down in the deep, but zombies? They are you, and there’s nothing quite so horrifying as that. I really don’t want to rehash the whole ‘are they really zombies’ thing here. I had enough of that with The Last of Us, and I don’t care what Druckmann says, the stalkers are zombies....

The first major announcement of BlizzCon 2017 has been made by Mike Morhaime during the event’s opening ceremony. StarCraft 2, Blizzard’s popular sci-fi real-time strategy game, is going free-to-play. According to Morhaime, StarCraft 2 will be free for fans to download and play starting November 14, featuring both single-player and multiplayer content that was previously exclusive to premium players. Jake from the Sub Surf Spray Crew has arrived in vinyl figure form, exclusively at Walmart. There’s also a level inside the mobile game Subway Surfers that has the characters go through a Walmart store. Strange! 2020 has been a strange year for video games. American retailer Target confirms that it will require customers to wear masks beginning next month. The announcement comes after rival retailer Walmart also said that it would make masks and face coverings mandatory beginning next week. In a statement today, Target said that all customers will have to wear a mask in all stores beginning August 1, 2020. Target said that “this builds on the more than 80% of our stores that already require guests to wear face coverings due to local and state regulations....
With the release date for Tekken 7 on PC and consoles less than a month away, the fighting game’s creators at Bandai Namco Entertainment have decided to offer up yet another trailer for the title, with the latest piece of footage highlighting several of the different personalities inherent in some of the characters on the roster.
