The Gears of War series is known for having big guns, big explosions, and tons of gore. Today we are going to look through the entire Gears of War series and rank what guns pack the biggest punch. For this list, we will limit the number of weapons, only focusing on what the player mainly wields in the campaign and also included in multiplayer. This excludes powerful weapons in-game lore we never got to use or one-time weapons in the campaign....

While Netflix’s 2018 holiday film, The Christmas Chronicles, didn’t have a clear antagonist—it was more about saving Christmas—the 2020 sequel pits Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) against an elfin protégé-turned-human-rival, Belsnickel (Julian Dennison). But while Belsnickel, with his odd garb and anti-Claus vendetta, might initially seem not to fit into The Christmas Chronicles 2, the character is actually rooted in Yuletide tradition. According to German folklore that dates back to at least the 18th century, Belsnickel is a foil of sorts to Saint Nicholas, or Santa Claus: a disheveled man dressed in tattered furs and dirty clothes, often wearing a mask with a long tongue and carrying a switch, he visits homes a few weeks before Christmas to check up on children’s behavior....

The Division 2 developer Massive Entertainment released a new trailer focused on the upcoming Invaded content releasing tomorrow. As most Division 2 players know by now, April 5th sees the release of the Tidal Basin stronghold, World Tier 5, new exotic gear, and the first gear sets. However, while the trailer was focused on the imminent releases, it did tease upcoming content, like the Operation Dark Hours raid release date....

This The Expanse review contains spoilers. The Expanse Season 5 Episode 6 The Expanse has reached an interesting threshold where it’s becoming possible for the series to outdo its own source material. Specifically, the dialogue in this week’s more emotional scenes was used to its maximum potential, in some ways surpassing the parallel sequences in the James S. A. Corey novels. The corrosive charisma of Marco Inaros and the flawed charm of Amos Burton are particularly well executed in this regard....

When the first Dying Light game came out, the game managed to shake-up the very tried-and-true zombie game in a subtle but impactful way. Infusing Mirror’s Edge style parkour with the hacking, slashing, and shooting of Dead Island, Dying Light ended up being a surprising breath of fresh air for zombies games. It wasn’t revolutionary, but the game did enough to entice players without being dragged down by a setting and theme so many other games had tackled before....

The Last Of Us Part II is days away from officially launching, and while many fans look forward to loading up the highly anticipated sequel, the question of the game’s file size remains. While it should be no surprise to anyone keeping up with gaming in the past few years, fans should not expect the file size to be small. With the growing trend of games taking up far more space on hard drives, players should start deleting old game clips and games to make room for this new title....

The Last of Us 2 has been out for some time now, and while the game certainly had its share of controversy, there is good reason it is has so many nominations for The Game Awards 2020. Telling a dark, emotional story that pulls no punches from beginning to end means that debates are still raging regarding the game and its many complex characters. With no neat endings being provided for the surviving members of the game’s cast, there is plenty of potential for a sequel if Naughty Dog was interested....

But it almost fell apart, right at a crucial moment. The studio initially showed remarkable confidence in Jackson’s talents, greenlighting three huge movies to be shot consecutively. Even more notable is the fact that they trusted Jackson at all, who scored a hit with the drama Heavenly Creatures, but whose previous work consisted of gross-out horror movies Bad Taste and Braindead (aka Dead Alive), as well as the Muppets-inspired sex romp Meet the Feebles....

Bloober Team’s latest horrifying title and Xbox’s newest exclusive, The Medium, takes the classic fixed camera exploration of games like Resident Evil and brings it into the modern age. While the game’s story and gameplay are a great look back in time with the benefit of improved graphical quality and animations, there are still several areas where the game falls short. As an indie title, it should be expected that The Medium won’t have the polish that triple-A titles have after their first round of patches, though some of the issues that bring The Medium down seem as if they’d have been relatively easy to notice in testing....

There’s people threatening to fight each other but never following through, there’s a clear favoritism of who gets in trouble and for what, and certain people get a pass when others would certainly be held accountable. There’s non-stop drama, quarrels over cell phones, and someone who lords over all the others. If any of this sounds familiar to a high school, it’s also incredibly familiar to Twitch. The latest escapades prove that Twitch is a for-profit high school, as everything from drama over a cell phone to a former Twitch streamer lauding his wealth have happened via streaming platforms in the past two weeks....

The Clone Wars series might be over for good this time, but there is another. Disney Gallery/Star Wars: The Mandalorian is a documentary series that breaks down various aspects of the production of The Mandalorian. It airs one episode a week on Disney+, with the latest covering the practical effects that go into creating a Star Wars story. Naturally, that included a section on the creation of The Child, better known as Baby Yoda....

The Star Wars sequel trilogy released by Disney split the fan base. Some fans want the sequels scrubbed from existence and retconned from the Star Wars timeline, while others believe they represent a new benchmark for the saga. But the 50% drop in worldwide box office returns between Episodes VII and IX would suggest that most casual viewers were pretty ambivalent about the trilogy. Since there was no roadmap from the beginning and the creative team just made it up as they went along, the Star Wars sequels don’t even really hold up as a complete three-volume work in the way that the two halves of Lucas’ saga do....

Dice has made hundreds of changes to Battlefront II over the past couple of years. After a horrible launch, Dice was able to resurrect the Battlefront franchise in just over a couple of years. The developer’s final few updates to the game were primarily focused on balancing the strengths and weaknesses of each reinforcement. In the Scarif update, Dice nerfed several reinforcements, which altered the effectiveness of each reinforcement in game....

A 30-second Star Wars Battlefront 2 commercial has leaked online ahead of the game’s scheduled debut on April 15. The commercial is full of revelations, including characters to be featured in Battlefront 2, settings to be used as maps, pre-order DLC content, and what appears to be a single-player campaign based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The commercial is likely part of a marketing campaign to run in tandem with the April 15 debut....

Starfield. It’s the game everyone wants but nobody has actually seen. We’ve only ever seen a trailer released at E3 2018, and since then it’s been radio silent. We know the game exists. We know that Bethesda is still working on it. But we know nothing else other than the setting, which will apparently be somewhere in space. And we know one other thing: it apparently needed to have its whole engine rewritten to accommodate next-gen consoles....
