Since the debut of Arrow eight years ago, the channel has excelled at bringing DC Comics heroes to the screen in a thoroughly enjoyable, generally family friendly fashion. DC Universe launched in 2018, bringing more niche stars to the roster including the very R-rated Titans and the strange, crude, and lovable Doom Patrol. Stargirl is the first of DC Universe’s shows to make the transition to The CW, with the show essentially simulcast, hitting the DC streamer one day earlier than it hits the network....

The trailer for Joe Keery’s dark social media satire Spree dropped earlier today. The Stranger Things actor stars as a social media obsessed rideshare driver who decks the inside of his car with action cameras as part of his plan to become infamous by livestreaming his rampage as “#thelesson”. Premiering at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, the film stars Keery, best known for playing Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, as rideshare driver and aspiring internet superstar Kurt Kunkle as he aims to go viral by livestreaming the kidnapping and torture of his passengers....

The next characters to join Square Enix’s Bring Arts line of figures are two of the party members from Final Fantasy IX - Adelbert Steiner and Vivi Ornitier. The Bring Arts toys are highly-detailed action figures that come with different parts in order for the customer to customize the look of the character. Without a doubt, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is easily one of the most highly anticipated video games of 2019, with Ubisoft having declared not too long ago that the forthcoming action-RPG set a beta registrations record for the company. Now, the publisher and developer has decided to provide fans with a better idea of what the game’s Agents will be fighting for by releasing an official story trailer to set the stage....

A new story trailer has been released for Wired Productions’ upcoming fantasy RPG, The Falconeer, showing off the watery, airborne chaos that players can expect when the game releases later this year. The average consumer may still be unclear on exactly what Valve is up to with its SteamOS, and broad strategy for not one, but an entire lineup of Steam Machines, but the cat is officially out of the bag. After releasing their first-party prototype machines to early beta testers, Valve unveiled their range of 13 Steam Machines set to arrive throughout 2014. This The Flash review contains spoilers. The Flash Season 4 Episode 2 I don’t know about this one, folks. I know that “Mixed Signals” was supposed to serve as the true reset after the understandable weirdness of getting Barry out of the Speed Force in the season premiere. And I get that the showrunners want to send a message loud and clear about this season’s new, lighter tone to help kind of wash away any lingering negativity from how intense season three was (disclosure: I didn’t have a problem with it)....

Last year’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover redefined the boundaries of the Arrowverse. The DC multiverse as it was known was destroyed and then reborn during the massive conclusion. We witnessed the deaths of a number of those universes directly (by weird Earth-2 where most dopplegangers were slightly evil versions of our heroes) and some of them were directly reborn/replaced (DC’s JSA-focused Stargirl TV series takes place on a new Earth-2), others such as Earth-38 (home of Supergirl) and the unnamed Earth where the first three seasons of Black Lightning took place, were folded into the new Earth-Prime, which is the new official home of much of the reconfigured Arrowverse....

While writing my GOTY list this week, the hardest part wasn’t choosing my favorite games, it was simply remembering all the games I played this year. I am not a journaler, my life is only documented in articles and reviews (and tweets) I’ve written. I can look back at my work and get a pretty good sense of what I played and how I felt about it, but I can’t escape the feeling that there were games in 2020 that I don’t even remember playing....

The journey to the Underworld, the addition of Penny’s young companion, the self-realization of Senator Gaines, and the sudden fissure between Eliot and Margo all go in directions no one would expect....
