Any prospective importers that were eyeing the nifty Monster Hunter Rise-themed Switch console may want to cancel their orders. Capcom has announced that the fetching handheld will be making its way to the US when Rise launches on March 26, 2021. There are no pre-order links ready yet, so we’ll keep you posted when details are made available. It remains to be seen if Monster Hunter Rise will eventually release on other platforms....
With the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm, the game’s M rating, a struggle to tie it into George Lucas’ Star Wars: Underworld TV series, and LucasArts’ president, Paul Meegan, stepping down, 1313 was canceled in 2014. Many have been asking if it would return with the upcoming slate of games, but, according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, it’s done for good. This third-person action-adventure game inspired by the likes of Uncharted took place on the 1313th floor of Coruscant and it would have had players stepping into the shoes of Boba Fett....
EA and DICE made a lot of fans happy over this past weekend when Star Wars Battlefront 2 was officially revealed as part of a Star Wars Celebration panel. The debut trailer confirmed a number of additions fans have been clamoring for, such as a dedicated single player experience, though there’s still a lot of details that EA isn’t sharing quite yet. Naturally, fans took to social media to try and pry a few more answers out of developers working on the game, and one of them, Associate Design Director Dennis Brannvall, did offer up some more insight....
Since the park opened last May, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge has quickly become one of the most enticing attractions available at both Florida and California’s Disneyland Parks. The immersive experience allows visitors to make their way through several Star Wars-themed attractions, including the Smuggler’s Run ride and the Oga’s Cantina bar. The park also allows visitors to buy their own lightsabers, with insanely accurate replicas called “Legacy Lightsabers” available to purchase from the Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities store....
Just a day after the full 15-minute Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order demo at EA Play, Respawn has released another new trailer for the highly anticipated game. The trailer doesn’t give a ton of new information about the title but does give a few more looks of what the game will actually be when it launches later this year. Respawn Entertainment’s forthcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, has had a handful of criticisms in the time before its launch. Some have criticized the game for having a male protagonist, for the Wookiee character models in the EA Play live stream, for toning down the traditional level of violence, and the design of the lightsaber. In a recent interview, game director Stig Asmussen discussed how protagonist Cal’s lightsaber has been fixed and how they arrived at the decision of his gender....
When the Secret Woods in Stardew Valley is unlocked, players will find a statue at the far end of the woods. When players interact with it, they will be met with the message, “Old Master Cannoli… still searching for the sweetest taste…” Should players fulfill the statue’s mysterious request, they will receive one of the more sought after rewards in Stardew Valley. Getting to the Secret Woods Before players can even encounter Master Cannoli, they will need access to the Secret Woods....
After earning your first of hopefully many wins in Super Mario 35, you will be entered into the coin rankings leaderboard. Your position on this leaderboard will depend on the highest number of coins you earn in a single match, with players at the top of the leaderboards having around 5000 in just one game. There are a few players with 99999 coins, but those players are doing so via hacks and are promptly being removed by Nintendo....

The PS1 original Final Fantasy 7 had some of the most memorable characters in the series. Outside of the main party or Shinra, the side characters weren’t as well defined though. In the remake, Square Enix has painstakingly corrected their mistakes and fleshed out old characters to make them more dynamic. Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge are all stars now along with the ever-charming bumbling adventures of Johnny. Final Fantasy 7 Remake not only does a good job with old characters, but their new ones are impressive too....

Weapon durability isn’t the flashiest mechanic in games — you use a weapon a lot and it breaks. Some games add it for realism, others ignore it for convenience. While some players enjoy the added sense of preparing for battle by inspecting their characters’ gear, others complain that it’s an annoying encumbrance mid-fight. Weapon durability has always been around in Fire Emblem, but a few games have tried to remove it with mixed results....
The Colonists just launched on consoles, so that means there are fresh new achievements up for grabs. Getting a gold medal in mission two doesn’t actually get you anything other than a sense of pride, but isn’t that enough reason to do it? The game is meant to be calm and relaxing, but there are time limits for these medals, so don’t dally too much. Mission two is the first one after the tutorial, so it isn’t too challenging, but if this is your first city builder or you’re just new to the game, then the main objective could take you a while....
Much of The Division 2 is about acquiring better gear and weapons to prepare oneself for endgame content, like the eight-player raids. When it comes to weapons, players will definitely want to go out of their way to collect the exotics, as they stand as some of the rarest and most powerful in the game. It seems more The Elder Scrolls Online content is just around the corner, as developer ZeniMax Online Studios reveals that the new Clockwork City DLC for the MMO will be released on PC in a little under two weeks. Beginning October 23, PC players will have access to a brand new area of the game that console players will have to wait until November 7 to see for themselves. In the Clockwork City DLC, players can explore the mechanical area with their existing characters, taking part in over ten hours of fresh story content and finding a range of new loot in-game....
It’s already been well-established that HBO’s The Last of Us is one of, if not the, best video game adaptations of all time. And if you disagree with that then, well … that’s totally fine. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion! No need to be upset here. Still, the category of “successful video game adaptations to television” is a relatively sparse one, and even the most TLOU-skeptic viewers will have to admit that this story about Joel (Pedro Pascal) shepherding Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic American landscape has a strong a claim to the title....
Ever since Naughty Dog announced the development of The Last of Us: Part 2 some time ago, fans have been patiently waiting for the studio to reveal the game’s official release date. While numerous rumors and speculations surfaced online after the initial reveal, several sources claim that The Last of Us: Part 2 is set to release sometime this year, six years after the launch of the original title. Several days ago, the satirical website The Onion, published some jokes in its “American Voices” column based on the premise that the highly anticipated follow up in The Last of Us series will be launching in 2019....
