Thankfully, The Boys season 3 answers many of those pressing questions. It’s now clear that The Boys’ universe mirrors our own more than one might even have expected. Here are all the references to the “real world” that we spotted in The Boys season 3....

After The Division took players to Manhattan in 2016, The Division 2 will take players to Washington D.C. where they’ll be able to duke it out at some of the United States’ most recognizable monuments. Ghost of Tsushima is set to become the latest Sony exclusive to be adapted for live-action, following in the footsteps of Uncharted and The Last of Us. Ratchet and Clank also had a movie adaptation recently, but that was more of a low budget tie-in than a fully fledged leap into the world of cinema. As Frank Rossi in the Best Picture winner CODA, Troy Kotsur plays a Deaf father maintaining his connection to his hearing daughter (Emelia Jones). The role earned Kotsur not only praise but also a Best Picture Academy Award, becoming the first Deaf actor to earn the accolade. But before that, Kotsur made a different type of history, long, long, ago in a galaxy far, far away. In an interview from January 2020 with The Daily Moth, Kotsur shares his experience working on the Disney+ series The Mandalorian and helping to develop the sign language used by the Tuskens....

The Metal Gear Solid movie, based on the critically acclaimed action series, already has a director; Kong: Skull Island’s Jordan Vogt-Roberts has been signed onto the project for several years. Stardew Valley split-screen already went live in the 1.5 update for PC last year, but now, it is readily available for console users according to ConcernedApe, the developer behind the game. Stargirl Season 2 is going to do something that no live-action incarnation of the Justice Society of America has managed to do: put original Flash Jay Garrick among their ranks.
