Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the biggest game releases of 2019, earning strong reviews and breaking some Star Wars game sales records. And now those who may not have already played Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order have a chance to do so at a relatively low cost, as EA has confirmed that the well-received Star Wars game from Respawn Entertainment will soon be making its debut on EA Play, and by extension, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Beginning November 10, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will add EA Play titles to its lineup. And on November 10, that will also include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, or EA Play subscribers, will be able to download and play through the entire game at no additional cost. And since Xbox Series X is backward compatible with Xbox One, early adopters of the new system will be able to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order come launch day, assuming they are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or EA Play.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order earned a great deal of success at the time of its release, with many fans hoping to see a Fallen Order sequel. Nothing official has been announced at the time of this writing, but it’s highly likely that a sequel will materialize in some capacity.

In the meantime, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order isn’t the only Star Wars game that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play when EA Play is integrated on November 10. Both of DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront games are currently available through the program, and it’s quite likely that more Star Wars games will be added down the line.

For example, EA’s Motive Studio just released Star Wars: Squadrons. Star Wars: Squadrons reviews have been mostly positive as well, with the game being generally well-received by the Star Wars community. Just as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now becoming part of EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, so too will Star Wars: Squadrons. However, it should be noted that it’s possible fans will have to wait until a year after its release for that to happen.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate EA Play integration is a big way that Microsoft is supporting its innovative subscription service. If nothing else, it should ensure that there’s always plenty of critically-acclaimed games to play through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
