One of last year’s most popular games is finally coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X, as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is receiving a next-gen update later this summer. A specific date was not revealed, although the update will be free for current owners.
The announcement was made as part of a May 4 Star Wars roundup post, which was loaded with Star Wars-related info. Fallen Order news was in short supply, but we also learned dozens of other games in the franchise will be going on sale throughout the month of May.
As for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, beyond the simple announcement there wasn’t much else to discuss.
“Coming this summer, we’re excited to announce the next-gen release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, bringing a number of technical improvements to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S console versions of the game,” the team said. “This will be a free cross-generation upgrade to current owners. More details will come soon.”
You’ll also be able to pick up the game at a 70% discount from April 28 to May 12. The discount applies to both Standard and Deluxe editions. The EA Star Wars Triple Bundle – which includes Squadrons, Fallen Order Deluxe Edition, and Battlefront 2 – will also be discounted by 50% from April 30 to May 11.
