After a series of leaks and official teasers, Respawn Entertainment finally pulled the curtain back on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago. Following an action-packed story trailer for the game, Respawn’s Vince Zampella confirmed the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order release date for November 15 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with retailers opening up pre-orders immediately afterwards.

Now that pre-orders are available for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the game’s pre-order bonus has been announced as well. Those that decide to pre-order the upcoming game will get exclusive cosmetics for Cal’s lightsaber and his droid BD-1. What these cosmetics actually look like has yet to be revealed, but more on that, as well as possible special and deluxe editions of the game, should come to light as we near Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s November release date.

With cosmetics available for Cal’s lightsaber and BD-1 as a pre-order bonus, it seems to indicate that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order players will be able to unlock other cosmetics in the game as well. Perhaps Cal will have alternate costumes, or maybe the cosmetics will be strictly focused on the lightsaber and BD-1 droid. Details are light at this point, but it would be odd for the only cosmetics to be restricted to a pre-order bonus.

Something we do know is that cosmetics won’t be sold through microtransactions. It was confirmed at the Star Wars Celebration event that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will not have microtransactions or multiplayer of any kind, which was met with cheers from the audience in attendance in Chicago. However, more traditional DLC hasn’t been ruled out quite yet, so it’s possible the game will still have DLC costume packs or something similar.

Like with its pre-order bonus cosmetics, details on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s post-launch plans are scarce at this time. Fans will have to stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
