Serial Cleaners (sequel to Draw Distance’s Serial Cleaner of 2017) is a stealthy action crime game set for a 2021 release.
The official reveal trailer for the game emerged over the weekend - a simple buttery smooth 47 second segment depicting one of said Serial Cleaners, who is a cigarette-wielding, greased-haired cool guy straight outta the ’90s.
That’s probably because the game is actually set in the ’90s. Serial Cleaners will see you playing as “four eccentric mob cleaners taking on the bloodiest jobs the carefree 1990s had to offer.” A snippet of top-down gameplay right at the end of the trailer seems to show one of them literally vacuuming up one of these bloody jobs.
The game sounds juicy:
Serial Cleaners will be coming to a Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 near you some time in 2021, so keep an eye out.
An homage to 90s cinema—from Tarantino’s classics through cult crime thrillers to B-movie action favorites and more—Serial Cleaners remixes those familiar places, characters and scenes into its own unique spin on a decade full of brightly colored optimism… and the grime underneath it all.
