Bison is the epitome of evil and the main villain of the Street Fighter series. Infused with Psycho Power, his main goal is to take over the world while showing off his pearly whites in the process.
Although M. Bison has a phenomenal smile, he has done some less than savory things. Though his excellent fashion sense makes it hard to stay mad at him — his uniform just looks so good — there are some that dislike the guy and rightly so. Dictators bent on world domination that command armies full of brainwashed slaves had to have stepped on a few toes to get to where they are. So today we are going to count down ten of the worst things M. Bison has ever done.
10 Leader Of Shadaloo
Shadaloo is a very powerful, evil organization that deals in human testing, biochemical drugs and arms dealing, so not exactly the World Wildlife Foundation. Shadaloo’s base is located in Thailand, which is what has led some to believe that M. Bison originates from the Southeast Asian country.
Bison is both founder and leader of Shadoloo and he “rules his empire with an iron fist” - his words, not ours. So not only does he rule an incredibly evil corporation, he sounds like he is a pretty horrible boss as well, probably offering very lackluster benefits.
9 Manipulating Sagat
At one point, Sagat had a strong hatred for Ryu which began during the events of the first Street Fighter. This is in part due to Ryu mortally wounding the Emperor of Muay Thai with a Shoryuken, leaving a large scar on his chest in the process.
In the events of Street Fighter 2, M. Bison manipulated Sagat into working alongside him as his bodyguard with the promise of Sagat getting his revenge on Ryu. In reality, M. Bison was only using Sagat to get to Ryu and the Satsui no Hado sealed within him.
8 Brainwashing Ken
During the events of Street Fighter 2, M. Bison took control of Ken with his Psycho Power, brainwashing him in the process. Needless to say, Ken was pretty violent after this, which is why this iteration of Ken has been affectionately named Violent Ken.
Ken’s jealousy over Ryu’s fighting ability made his mind weak and susceptible to mind control. M. Bison, being the outstanding fellow that he is, took this as an opportunity and infused Ken with Psycho Power and turned him into a pawn for Shadaloo. Luckily, Ken later broke free.
7 Tumultuous Reltationship With Ryu
Ryu and M. Bison’s relationship has always been less than cordial. It could have something to do with M. Bison’s repeated attempts to capture Ryu in hopes of either using his body as a host body or brainwashing him into becoming a member of Shadaloo.
While it may seem that M. Bison’s attempts are born from an unnatural desire to become Ryu’s friend, it is actually due to M. Bison’s want of the Satsui no Hado locked inside Ryu. M. Bison wants the power of the Satsui no Hado so he can control the Surge of Murderous Intent for himself.
6 Shadaloo Dolls
The Dolls consist of teenage girls who were captured and brainwashed by M. Bison so they could become assassins of Shadaloo. The brainwashing made them entirely loyal to M. Bison, so much so they act more like automatons than humans.
At one point, M. Bison’s brainwashing had such a hold over the Dolls that if he were to die, so would they. While Cammy did break free of M. Bison’s control as well as release other Dolls from his clutches, Bison later enlisted the help of more unwilling young women.
5 Cammy
Cammy, Street Fighters’ second-ever female character is a clone of M. Bison and was created using his DNA. M. Bison chose Cammy as a clone due to her experience as an agent of the Delta Red commando task force within Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service.
When Cammy was first introduced into the series, she had a convenient case of amnesia, forgetting her origins. It was later revealed that she had worked alongside M. Bison as part of the Shadaloo Dolls but had later broken free after discovering that Bison had killed her parents.
4 Rashid’s Friend
After his friend disappears, Rashid begins to search for them and later finds out that his friend had been captured by Shadaloo. Rashid’s friend had been working in the S.I.N. Lab before being captured, a secret laboratory where Shadaloo conducts experiments.
Rashid, alongside his servant Azam decide to infiltrate the Shadaloo base in hopes of retrieving his captured friend. Following a long struggle to enter the Shadaloo base, Rashid runs into F.A.N.G. After a long bout, F.A.N.G. revealed that he killed Rashid’s friend.
3 Killing Juri’s Parents And Taking Her Eye
Shadaloo and M. Bison are responsible for not only removing the eye of Juri but also killing her parents. Because of this, Juri despises M. Bison and seeks to destroy him at all costs. However, as with all of his foes, Bison sees Juri as little more than a minor nuisance and thinks nothing of her quest for vengeance.
Normally a lone wolf, due to her hatred of Bison, Juri has gone so far as to join the Illuminati, assuming that the power of Urien and Gill will be enough to contend with Bison’s awesome Psycho Power.
2 Killing Charlie (Nash)
Bison killed Charlie or Nash in Japan after Charlie defeated M. Bison during the events of Street Fighter Alpha. Just as Charlie had assumed he had won against the megalomaniac that is Bison, he was attacked from behind.
Charlie was not heard of until the events of Street Fighter V when Urien resurrected him so he can fight alongside him in the Illuminati. After he was resurrected, Charlie began to hunt down M. Bison to seek vengeance for being killed. However, when Charlie finally encounters M. Bison again at the end of Street Fighter V he is quickly overpowered.
1 Killing Chun Li’s Father
The primary reason for Chun Li, an Officer of Interpol, joining the Street Fighter World Warrior Tournament is to track down and destroy both Shadaloo and M. Bison. Chun Li has a strong hatred for the evil tyrant and his organization.
As a young girl, Chun Li’s father attempted to protect her from Bison and his evil organization, only to be killed. Going through this list, it would seem that M. Bison is really into killing parents, then leaving the child so they can later exact their revenge, it’s either a gross oversight or just some weird hobby of his.
