Streets Of Rage 4 Has An Official Release Date That S Very Soon

Streets of Rage 4 finally has a release date: April 30th.

The latest trailer for Streets of Rage 4 has a special gift for fans, and it’s a release date that’s very soon! Less than two weeks remain before you can get your hands on the first Streets of Rage game in decades.

Additionally, the trailer reveals a versus multiplayer mode. Battle Mode pits player against player in 8 different arenas based on various levels found in Streets of Rage 4. You can select any of the game’s unlocked characters, including the recently revealed retro characters from previous iterations of Streets of Rage.

Battle Mode also allows four players to be assigned to any of four different teams, allowing you to create 1v3 or 2v1 scenarios against more skilled opponents or just a massive 1v1v1v1 free-for-all.

If you’re looking to pick up Streets of Rage 4 for realsies, there’s still time to pre-order a physical copy of the game for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. You have your choice of a modern jewel case or a retro-inspired Sega Genesis-style case. Or you can just buy both and save yourself the hassle of having to choose.

Streets of Rage 4 arrives on Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam on April 30.
